Rachel's eyes glowed a bright, serpentine green, and her voice echoed over all of the campers:

The Brain, Heart, and Soul collide,
Love is pain and it must die,
When children's lives are on the line,
Death himself must choose a side.
End the pain, the voices cry,
End it now, or all shall die,
But what if Love and Death unite,
To save the day, and end this fight?

When the words had finished flowing from her lips, a breath of air knocked into her like a small punch—a feeling she wasn't yet used to. She gazed up at the sky, before her terrified eyes drifted back towards the campers. She looked like she had something else to say, but something was stopping those words from getting out.

Rayvn stood, bracing himself against a tree, his own eyes were wide in horror. Certain words had engraved themselves into his brain. Did the prophecy mean what he thought it meant? He looked over the campers, until his eyes rested on a girl stood by the cabins.

Carina made an audible gasp. It was not everyday the demigods got a prophecy much less something world ending. Okay, maybe that is a lie as most of the prophecies she heard were world ending but she never considered actually hearing one in her lifetime. Some words got stuck in her head like brain, heart, and soul. Was that referring to the demigods or at least their parents? It made no sense and Carina was kind of frustrated with the lack of clarity in a prophecy. Maybe that is why no one liked them. They are just glorified riddles. So there the girl stood, rooted to her spot not knowing what to do. Brain could mean a child of Athena and with that logic heart would mean Aphrodite. And that thought left a bad taste in her mouth.

Juniper froze in shock, barely managing to breathe. Her brain was working to process the prophecy, and she was in a state of mild panic. She had never liked even hearing about prophecies, but this was so much worse than hearing stories. She managed to stumble to a tree and lean against it. "Does anyone have a quick translation of who needs to go?" She asked in general to the campers around her.

@The-Magician group

"I think I know." Rayvn whispered, keeping his eyes on the Aphrodite child by the cabins. He turned to Cielle with a half smile and pulled her close to him in a gentle hug. "Oh C, things are about to get nasty. It's happening again."

@clovxrblossxm

Carina takes a few deep breaths. This was bad and she didn’t want any of her siblings hurt. Sure some of them are snobbish but that doesn’t mean she wanted them to be pawns to the gods. She continues to takes deep breaths to calm her racing heart when she gets the uncomfortable feeling of being stared at. Carina glances around before catching sight of three people near the forest.

Jade began to walk toward the forest. What did that even mean? Love should die? Love and death unite? What kind of prophecy was that? She took another shaking breath and told herself to be calm. She was Jade. She had to be calm. She had to be the one who didn’t care about Camp Half Blood. She took one last uneven breath and smoothed her blue hair. She stopped at the edge of the forest and plopped down against a tree. Her mind began to wander far from CHB.

Being one of the oldest, Rayvn was supposed to confront all the campers with this prophecy, and form a team who would see it through the end. However, with the knowledge he had, it was difficult to do anything about it.
As far as he was concerned, there were only 4 people who needed to go: a child of Apollo, Athena, Aphrodite, and Hades—Soul, Brain, Heart and Death. There was no way in hell he was going to allow his little sister to go on this quest, the stakes were just too high and he didn't want to risk her being killed. He didn't doubt her ability to hold her own, but he just cared too much about her. That only left himself from the Hades cabin…

@hyunjins-eyemole

Jade decided that she wanted to be the one to go on the quest. She would probably be able to travel and given some resources she might be able to figure out some of the lines. She was a daughter of Athena, this should be easy. She was smart. She could do this.

@Simon-Says

(Ok hi sorry I dont really have wifi atm lol. Um, I don't- I mean, should we just have them meet in the big house? I just feel like it makes it really confusing when we have to describe the process of choosing who goes? Idk, we don't have to)

@Simon-Says

(I'll just - )
Juniper sat on the very edge of her seat, tapping her fingers rapidly against her leg. She wasn't able to formulate any kind of speech pattern, and stared at the ground while listening to the small amount of noise coming from everyone else in the room.

@The-Magician group

Rayvn was leaning against the wall, thumb pressed against his lips. While there was every possibility that a team needed to leave right away, the last time Rachel produced a prophecy such as this, it was a long time before the campers needed to do anything about it.

The red-haired oracle was sat with her hands on her lap, her legs bouncing about as if she were uncomfortable.
"There was something else I needed to tell you all, and it isn't very good news…"
"Tell us." Rayvn said, now biting the tip of his thumb.
Rachel turned to all of them, pure fear could be seen clearly in her eyes. "Aphrodite is missing."

@hyunjins-eyemole

Jade groaned. “Seriously!?! I NEED for coffee!” She rubbed her temples trying to get rid of her new headache. “It’s too early to be dealing with this. Why can’t the gods just sit up on Olympus and eat their effing ambrosia!”

@The-Magician group

The sky rumbled, causing both Rayvn and Rachel to scowl at Jade.
"I'd watch what I say if I were you." Rachel scorned, a proud expression plastered on her features. "You may be a child of the gods, but that is all you are. A child. Perhaps if you become a god then you can decide what you say about them, but for the mean time I suggest you keep your comments to yourself."
Rayvn looked out of the window with a large sigh. "Trust me, Rachel, I wouldn't bother with her. She may be the daughter of Athena, but even Athena would be disappointed in her."

@hyunjins-eyemole

Jade shut her mouth and brushed past Rayvn. She mumbles “Who isn’t disappointed in me.” Then louder, “Dear old mom must have that in common with my family then. I got my nose piercing an hour after dad said no. Sorry dad.”

@The-Magician group

Rayvn let out another sigh and crossed his arms. He remained silent for a moment, not really having anything to say.
"As much as I want to help," Rachel spoke, a little reluctantly. "I am not allowed to give you the guidance you need. It is something you must discover on your own." As if the campers didn't already know that. They would have been fools if they expected to be given all the answers straight away.

@Simon-Says

(Ah, yeah, they are lol. They've already been chosen, I just wanted to skip past the process because it takes too long and I'm too dead for that)

@Simon-Says

"We have to sort out this whole business by ourselves then," Juniper clarified, though it sounded like a question. She was terrified. She was never going to let any of her campers go, but she sure as hell didn't want to. There weren't even any clear instructions, they just had to… guess at what to do.

@The-Magician group

"That's always the way with these things.." Rayvn murmured, keeping his eyes locked on the life outside the window. After another moment of silence he pushed himself off the wall and shoved his hands into his pockets. "I'm going to pack, catch you guys later." and with that he left the house, something still played on his mind. The penultimate line of the oracle's message. 'But what if Love and Death unite'. Logic would only assume that meant either Aphrodite and Hades, or one each of their respective children. That was the only part of the prophecy that Rayvn just couldn't get his head around, everything else made sense as clear as day.

@hyunjins-eyemole

(Sorry- I’m a bit out of it)
Jade spun on her heels. “Well, I’ll be packing.” She looked over her shoulder “Let’s try to be back here in an hour. We can plan and try to figure everything out. That seems simple enough.”
