"I just…what are you going to tell her?" Jay asked softly. He gave Finn directions as they drove.
"I just…what are you going to tell her?" Jay asked softly. He gave Finn directions as they drove.
Finn shrugged. “Not really sure. Probably that I shook some peoples hands and I’m not sure who my soulmate is,” he said.
Jay nodded. "Okay." He fidgeted for a moment. "I uhm… I'm going to try and get my phone up and running." He said after a long minute. "I have an old one somewhere that I can put the SIM card into."
I nod. “Ok text me if you get it to work,” he said. “I really don’t want you to go back there.”
Jay nodded a little. "I will." He sighed softly. "Yeah, but…it's not like there's much of a choice."
“You could Umm do what we talked about,” he suggested clenching the wheel slightly. He was getting closer to Jay’s.
This neighborhood was more rundown than Finn's, the houses smaller and closer together, less well-kept. Jay's eyes flickered. "Not right now I can't. Not…right off the bat, no warning or anything. I have to figure out…where the hell I could go."
Finn nodded. “Which house is yours?” He asked riding down his street.
Jay leaned forward in his seat a little, and pointed out one. It was about the same size as the other houses in the neighborhood. The fence was sagging and the yard seemed a little wild, like it hadn't been cut in a while. The house itself seemed to be in good condition, as was the car parked outside. Jay winced a little bit, crossing his arms protectively. "Dad's home." he said softly.
Finn held his hand. “Do you want me to come in?” He asked. “He won’t hurt you after I’m done talking to him.”
Jay's mouth twitched, and he shook his head slightly. "He…it's probably best if he doesn't find out about you." he replied quietly. "I…don't know what he would do."
“What did you tell him about the mark?” He asks stalking slightly.
"I…" Jay trailed off.
“Has He noticed yet? If not do you have the cream?” He asks.
"He knows. He just…doesn't know anything beyond the fact that I found you." Jay replied, looking down at the floor. "Remember? That's what I got beat for last time. I came home glowing." he touched his cheek, where the cream was still covering the glow.
Finn scrunched up his nose from the memory. “Ok but call me if things get bad please. No matter what I’ll come and get you,” he said holding his hand tightly.
Jay nodded a little. He leaned over and kissed Finn's cheek softly. "Okay. Thank you. I love you."
“I love you too,” fin said letting go of his hand after giving it a quick squeeze.
Jay closed his eyes for a moment. "I'll…I'll be at school tomorrow, I hope." He said softly.
Finn nodded. “I should be too,” before kissing him lightly. “Please stay safe.”
Jay kissed him back. "Okay. I love you." He said again. He unbuckled, getting his backpack.
“Ok I love you too,” he said again watching him go.
Jay got out of the car, and headed towards the house.
Finn watched him wanting to make sure he got in alright.
Jay bent, getting a spare key out from under a rock, and got into the house.
Once Jay was inside Finn drove off. Going straight home.
(gtg to bed now. Good night!)
Jay went to his room as fast as he could, avoiding his father.

When Finn got home his aunt yelled at him and after a small fight took away his phone. He knew she was going to go through it and he desperately tried to remember if he had said anything to jay that would give them away. Then again she might be distracted by the fact that he still talks to Willow to notice.
Jay closed the door to his bedroom, searching for his old phone. He eventually found it, and plugged it in to charge, since it was dead as a doornail.
A while past and Finn started to relax. His aunt probably didn’t find anything too incriminating. He still hoped that Jay doesn’t get hurt and can’t get in touch with him.
