He didn't know what to say. He sniffled softly, covering his mouth with a hand.

"You ok?" He typed after awhile. He bit his lip hard.

"no" Jay typed back, still crying softly.

*"I can come get you," Finn offered already standing.

"no u can't. Ur aunt would…" Jay sniffled, wiping at his face.

”don’t worry about that. Pack a bag if you can. I’ll be there in 10 minutes meet me outside please” he quickly typed grabbing a bag and his backpack. He shoved an outfit for him along with what he got for Jay last time he stayed over. He glanced at his computer.

Jay wiped his face again, trying to stem the tears. "Ok". He finally replied.

Finn grabbed Poppy’s backpack some of his medical supplies and a sleeping poppy before bringing them all into the cat. He tried to be as quiet as possible hoping his aunt wouldn’t notice him outside.

Jay got his clothes, and his phone and charger cord.

Finn pulled up in front of his house and waited a second to see if he needed to go to the door.

Jay came out after a few minutes, still in his pajamas, with a jacket pulled on as well.

Finn opened the passenger door. He was in his pajamas as well.

Jay got in the car, setting his backpack by his feet. There were still tear tracks on his face, and he sniffled a little bit. "Thank you." he said softly, buckling in.

“No problem baby,” Finn whispered leaning over and kissing him. He then sat back and drove off. He held his hand.

Jay clung to Finn's hand, taking a deep, slightly shaky breath.

Finn squeezes his hand as well. He drove until he parked in a hotel’s parking lot close to the door.

Jay rubbed his eyes with his free hand, sniffling a little.

Finn turned to him. “It’s ok where does it hurt?” He asked grabbing one of his bags from the back seat.

Jay shrugged a little bit. "I-I don't know." he whispered. "My ribs."

Finn nodded. “Stay here I’ll get us a room and I’ll be right out,” he said kissing him on the cheek. “I have my medical things but I think you need some ice and rest.”

Jay nodded a little bit. "Alright." he replied softly. "Thank you."

Finn nodded and got out of the car leaving him and Poppy for a minute. Poppy was still asleep but when the car door closed she woke up looking around confused.

Jay was quiet, curled up in the front seat, looking small and exhausted.

“Where are we?” Poppy asked sleepily. She looked over at Jay.

"A hotel." Jay replied softly.

“Why?” She asked unbuckling and sitting at the edge of her seat.

Jay looked away. "I…you had better ask him." he replied softly.

Poppy nodded. “Ok. Are you ok?” She asked tilting her head.

Jay hesitated for a moment, then shrugged. "I-I don't know, Poppy."

Poppy nodded again. “Ok,” she said sitting back down. Finn showed back up with two key card in his hand. He opened the passenger door and then the back door. “I got a room on the first floor so you don’t have to walk far,”He said grabbing all the bags.
