(Found a way for her to figure out he likes herrrrrrr. So, he manages to wrestle one of her lightsabers away and somehow gets her on her back. He debates just stabbing her right there, but instead just throws the damn thing as far as he could into the wilderness, then hauls ass back to his ship)
(Oh- yeah that works- how does this work for you?)
Halo glared at him. "You're going to die Locke. You know you are." She growled, tightening her grip. "You're an idiot and a fool. One day you won't be able to refuse the offer, the offer that will save your life. Maybe even the ones you love." She emphasized in the last word a little too much.
Halo glared at him one last time before shoving him to the ground and turning away towards her ship. "Send the fleet." She said into the head transmission that connected with the star destroyer hanging in the sky above them. "He needs to be shown what will happen when he refuses."
(Just getting this straight, she's threatening to hurt the planet, right?)
(Yup. And all the civilians on it.)
Winston scrambled to his feet, his eyes flashing with fear and confusion. The first thing he did was scoop up his blaster from the ground and point it at her back. The second was pump the slide as hard as he could.
"The-what are you about to do?" he shouted, the fear evident on his voice. "This is between me and you! Leave this place outta it!" Anger began boiling in his chest You can't…" he dropped his gun, "just…" he bent his knees, building up energy, "do this!"
With a shout, he used to force to push himself high into the air, tackling her right before he hit the ground. He landed with a thump on his back, jarring his spine on a hard root poking out of the dirt. No, not a root…it was metal. He reached underneath his back and pulled out the hilt of a lightsaber. It must have slipped out of her belt when he tackled her. Ceasing the opportunity, he jumped to his feet and pressed down on the button, the red light sliding out of the hilt menacingly.
"Call it off," he growled, a look of anger that she'd never seen on his face as he stood over her.
She felt pain ebbing through her whole body. "I told you- you're an idiot. You and everyone you love may have to pay for your actions." She groaned attempting to stand up. "Unless you've change your mind those ships are coming here- and it will be a miracle if a single person lives. Including myself maybe." She mumbled the last part picking up her dropped saber. "Though- red does look good on you."
"I don't got no one I love, but these people don't deserve to die for something that doesn't concern them!" he shouted, gripping the lightsaber in an awkward way. He honestly had zero clue how to use the damn thing. Never even liked them, to be honest. Too up close and personal for him. "You're really willing to kill yourself just to settle some petty ass feud?!" I don't want her to die. The thought confused him so badly he nearly dropped the weapon in his hand. Did he really just think that?…Yes, he did. And he meant it, too. He could feel his resolve draining as the bombers began entering the atmosphere.
"Fuck….fuck, fine!" he shouted, shutting his eyes tightly as he pressed the button on the handle again. THe red blade retracted into nothing, and he threw it as hard as he could into the ground. "I'll go….just call them off, for fuck's sake."
(Eh, this is more realistic)
(Oof lol)
She picked up the blade and spoke softly into the head set. "I have him commander." She smiled cockily. "Tell the troops to clear the quarters." Halo walked over to Winston with a sigh. She clasped a pair of restraints over his wrists after pulling his arms behind him. "Like I said, you're an idiot. I'm not that cruel." Halo hummed pushing him towards her ship. "There was no fleet."
Winston hung his head, as if in shame. In reality, he was trying to focus on the mechanisms in the restraints, trying to see if he could unlock them with only the Force. But…it was too small. To precise. He had no formal training in the mystical power; everything he learned was self taught.
"Son of a…." he mumbled, cringing. The anger had waned as fast as it had came, replaced with an embarrassed expression on his face. Something she was very used to. "Guess that's a point for you. I'm still ahead by, like, seven, though."
(Do i need to add anything to my post?)
Halo laughed taking his weapon from him. "Yes, but it's slowly going to diminish." She put it in an empty holster, and pushed him along. "You're going to have to realize and admit that one day Locke." They came up to her ship and she pushed him in. Climbing in herself she picked up a helmet and put it on top of her head. "You may need to hold onto something." She smirked softly and flew the ship up and off into space.
(Oh- no! I just had to go to bed. I would have told you, it was really sudden though.)
"Woooaahh!" he grunted, nearly getting thrown to the ground by the ship taking off into the air. "What-…How am I supposed to hold onto anything when I'm locked up like this?"
He watched out of the cockpit window as they left the atmosphere of the planet and approached a Star Destroyer (the big ships, in case you didn't know the terminology) that was floating lazily in gravitational pull of Kashyyyk. Any smart-ass remark was wiped clean from his mind as he finally realized how dire his situation was.
"You're gonna kill me, aren't you?" Winston asked ina numb voice, his eyes never leaving the giant spear-head shaped ship they were approaching. The shear scale of the damn thing was unprecedented. He wouldn't be surprised if it had its own gravity field.
(I did actually lol)
Halo looked at him, concern spread her face. Just hearing the tone of his voice could break someone. "I never had that thought in the forefront of my mind. Of course we aren't planning to kill you, I'm not at least." She replied, slowing the speed of the ship. Halo had his remark ringing in her head. 'You're gonna kill me…aren't you…?' over, and over, and over. She gritted her teeth and pulled up to the ship.
Stormtroopers surrounded the ship as the cockpit opened and the two stepped out. Immediately, Winston was roughly grabbed by the shoulders and dragged into the middle of the group of soldiers.
"What do you want us to do with the prisoner, ma'am?" the captain, dressed in all black armor, asked as he stepped forward and saluted.
Halo tossed her helmet in the ship, looking at them. "Did you clear the quarters like I requested? Because that's where I want him." She said with a stiff expression. "Bring him fresh clothes, and food." She demanded before turning away and heading off. "I have a meeting to attend. Troops Dr5498 and Jb3423 come with me."
Winston was dragged off into the depths of the ship as the two stormtroopers jogged after the Sith lord. He was terrified, but…..also relieved. She wasn't planning on killing him…..at least she said that. Yet, she was also the girl who had cut off his arm. He didn't know what to believe.
The admirals on the ship were all in the conference room, waiting for her arrival. The leader of the ship sat at the head of the table, his hands folded on the table and a frustrated expression on his face.
"I'm guessing you have finally gotten that boy you've been chasing for 3 months now." he growled when she walked into the room. "Why have you wasted so much effort capturing him, again?"
Halo kept a blank expression, and sat down across from him. "Of course I have, and that my good sir is none of your business. It's personal." She said simply holding a good posture staring him down. Halo un-holstered her sabers, and set them on the table in front of her. "He's being held in captivity, and will not be harmed."
The stormtroopers pushed him into his quarters and locked the door, two guards positioned outside to keep watch. A simple tray and a pair of folded, clean clothes were lying on the small desk. A note lay on top of the garments. 'Get changed, you'll be meeting with someone soon.'
Winston, being the petty man he was, contemplated just throwing the clothes away and staying in his dirty ass old outfit. While the look on her face would be priceless, he was really trying to stay alive. His missing left name was a reminder of that. So, even though it was awkward as hell having two men outside of his door, he slowly stripped down and changed into the dull beige shirt and pants. Is this what the prisoner's wear? So bland.
"You have costed us 10,000 credits tracking this young man down," the commander said, sounding irritated. "If you don't intend on killing him, why do all of this work?"
Halo leaned back into the chair, fiddling with the saber. "It seems wasteful to kill him after costing us thousands of credits." She tried not to let cockiness take over her. So she pushed a dull and bored look on her face. "I'd like to keep him here for awhile, anyone who harms him without my consent will be terminated." Halo held her stance, never letting her determination diminish from her tone or face.
"I will be having a long conversation with your master about this," the man grumbled, but he knew he wouldn't be able to stop Halo. "Meeting adjourned."
Winston was laying on the bed, looking up at the ceiling with a bored expression on his face.
"C'mon fellas, not even a holoprojector? I got a show I'm missing right now," he called to the two guards outside of his door. As expected, he got no response.
Halo wasn't given the change to argue, so she stood and gathered her sabers. She headed off with the troopers following behind her. "Where are they keeping him?" She asked as she came to one of the elevators. "I need to speak with him." The first trooper looked at her and nodded. "We'll take you to him." He said simply in a gruff tone. Halo nodded leaning against the back wall.
"Lord Halo will be coming soon," one of the guards said, banging on the door. "Make yourself presentable."
Shit shit shit. Winston sat up immediately, his heard pumping out of his chest. Why was she coming to see him? The only logical reason would be to kill him….right? Was he being paranoid? She looked pretty hurt when he asked if she was going to kill him, but at the same time, she's a Sith Lord. And he was completely at her mercy, having nowhere he could run anymore. So, he stood against the back wall, gently messing with the glove that covered his artificial hand.
Halo stood in front of the door and took a deep breath. She handed her weapons over to the troopers, and looked at them. "Stay outside, and keep watch. I'll be out soon." She ordered opening the door. Stepping in, the doors shut behind her and she crossed her arms, starring at him. "Do you hate me yet?"
"'Lil bit, yeah," he admitted, moving to the far left corner to put as much space between them. His stance was lowered slightly, as if he was prepared for a fight. "But, y'know, it's a side effect of getting your arm chopped off. Why even ask?"
Her eyes are pretty - I mean, terrifying. They looked…glossed over, almost like she was looking though him instead of at him.
"Because I thought maybe saving your life would maybe even things out." She shrugged crossing her arms. With straight posture, she stood firm in her position. "But clearly that doesn't matter. Why do you think you're here?" She asked genuinely curious to hear what he was going to say. She studied his face, and came to his hand. That hand. The one she had cut off. Halo pushed it far back in her head and looked back to his eyes.
"I don't fuckin'-Rancor meat, maybe? You got one of those fat bastards on here?" he asked, looking away from her gaze and shivering slightly. Something about her just made him…uncomfortable. And it wasn't from fear. "Target practice for the stormtroopers? God knows they need it. Um…..a punching bag?"
Halo sighed and rubbed her face. "They do need it, but no Winston." She muttered, not even realizing she used his name. "I told you, we need you, you're a force user." She stated the obvious. "My master wants you to join us, but I have something else in mind." Halo went towards the desk and picked up the glass from the tray, fiddling with it.
The general protests of the Sith was put on pause when she finished her sentence. What is she talking about…
"'Something else?'" he echoed, staying glued to the wall. She was much closer now, and it made his heart beat even faster. "What do you mean by that?"
"I want you an I to train together." She said simply. "I'll show you the ropes, and one day…" Halo trailed off setting the glass down. She looked back at him, and leaned against the desk. "Maybe you could rule by my side, the empire under our feet." Halo shrugged a bit crossing her arms once again. "You'd make for great leader material, no doubt in my mind. It just matters where you use it."
