Things had always been strange for you. The sort of strange that never particularly raises suspicion— life was a strange thing after all, weird thing, socks disappearing and weather phenomena and that sort. The day was December twenty-first when it was a life worth questioning.

Preferring someone with experience! I welcome a roleplay partner who is more than fine with taking creative plot risks— weave your own ideas into the plot!

@KalamariCakes

Yes, that's perfectly fine! As for time period/world/whatnot, do you have a preference? My expertise is in 1800s America and France (strangely enough— thanks, Hamilton), but I am flexible!

@KalamariCakes

Oh, 1800s if you're up to it! I'm very used to describing things, I'll make it easy for you. Let's start with bios! Do you want to be the girl or boy?

Name: Clara Hall
Age: 23
Appearance: Clara stands at 5'4'' with a lean figure but still a curvy hourglass shaped figure. Her thin pale face is spread with freckles and flushed cheeks, and her light colored honey eyes are wide a doll like. She has pitch black shoulder length curly hair she has pulled back. She weighs 120 some pounds, and has not much of a bony figure.
Personality: Quiet stoic figure who seems cold, but once you get to know her she's sweet and friendly. But most of all insecure.

Name: Pierre DeFranqe
Age: 20
Appearance: Pierre's hair seems black in most lighting, but is actually a very dark brown that shows itself in sunlight. He has steelish blue eyes, a nose that kind of crooks down. His brows are rather heavy set and appears as if he's peering longingly at everything when really it's just his facial structure. Pierre is 5'7" and average weight/musculature.
Personality: for the most part to be determined. For certain will be somewhat reserved.
Other info (economic class, ethnicity, religion, etc…): middle upper; went to university for two years, as his father wanted him to practice law, but Pierre dropped out, much to his father's disappointment. His mother passed when he was a young teen and his father has since remarried thrice. Pierre has a young brother and a sibling on the way from his third step mother.

Okedoke)

The town of Colline sat nestled on an awkward angle of hills, perched between peaks and the valley lakes miles off. It's full name was Colline des Sorcières— Witch's Hill. Founded in the awakening of the early sixteen—hundreds and improved upon since.
Or loosely put.
Pierre had been raised in the northesternmost swaths of Colline, highest on the hill. As if fate had a sense of humor putting the rich physically above the poor. His home, settled warily on the largest spanse of even land in Colline, was built of dark brick and marble.
It was summer. And Pierre was spending it the only sensible way he knew how: outside.

The weather seemed decent for a summers day, and Clara took the advantage. She made her way to a pond in the woods with a book tucked in her basket. Clara hummed as she made her way down the path listening to the sounds around. The forest seemed quiet and she enjoyed that, knowing that maybe the rowdy boys from town would be back there instead of splashing around the peaceful pond. Knowing better then to assume she stayed quiet even though her shoes clicked on the dirt path.

(So me being an idiot forgot to ask- who's the one who loses things?)

The DeFranqe property spanned most of the forest despite the relatively small size of the actual manor. Pierre spent most of his time wandering these grounds; it was better than being home, being under family scrutiny and the disappointment of all he is. So he wandered in his casual clothes (vest, undershirt, breeches— typical day clothes of the era), a fistful of particular wildflowers. Echinacea, lemon balm.

(Okie sorry that's what I thought)

Clara came to the pond and heard splashing and laughing. With an annoyed huff she started onward past it pretending as if she was never headed there in the first place. She adjusted the basket but it felt strange… lighter mostly. She glanced in it and sighed. "Of course, must have left it at home or dropped it. Again." She muttered to herself turning around to head back to where she started.
