I'm just gonna post my vent here because I don't want people to think it's about people in the venting chat because it's really not and I also want to be rude to them even though it's not really their fault and it's just me being a terrible person
I hate new people
Just in general. I know they don't mean to, but they come in just when I'm happy and satisfied and I know what I'm doing and they just wreck everything. They don't know me at all and they try to take control or are given control and they fuck everything up and ignore me because they don't understand how hard I worked to get everyone to understand what they can and can't do in regards to me which is probably selfish but I don't want to do it all over again because I don't like people and they don't listen. And then it's like everyone else forgets everything about me and that I exist and I have feelings and-

I can understand that, I feel the exact same way sometimes. (That's all I'll say)

I'd like to be rude to the people who only come on this website full of negativity and hate, like, you have authority, but why use it to be a bitch and drag everyone down?

Honestly–this site is far from toxic. Like far from it.

But that's all I'll say on the matter because I don't feel like getting bitched at today

It's not that the site itself is toxic _{it's just that there are certain people who appear to make the whole of the site toxic when really it's just a couple of bad apples I'll shut up now but that's my take on this whole thing}

I agree with Eris and Red. I've actually been in toxic fandoms and such, and this is like…not very toxic.

I’ve been on some pretty toxic sites and Notebook is pretty down low when it comes to ‘toxicity.’ There are definitely a few ‘bad apples’ on Notebook from what I can see so far though, like Red said.

The world is a toxic place no matter where you go, Hell, even Club Penguin was toxic at one point.
Children's nursery rhymes have dark meanings behind them, Disney princess films have dark stories.
The society we live in today is the way it is now because the world is a toxic place, and it as been that way since forever.
However, to take away the necessary evil in the world would be to remove everyone's unique personas, everyone's different perspectives, and the chance for people to do great things.
While I agree that toxicity isn't necessarily nice, it is needed.
I know people will disagree with this, and that's fine, you all have your own opinions.
Just thought I'd have my input.

Good point Nutella. But I still think this place is great. Sure, you have to work around annoying stuff or people sometimes, but that’s life. The majority of stuff here is pretty good. I’ve made just about everyone here furious at me at one point or another but all you have to do to have a good time is not be an asshole, really. shrugs I’m more in the crowd who says “too sensitive”.

Yeah, you don't need to like everyone on the site to enjoy it. I'm sure some people hate me, and I hate some people, but it's not a big deal because no one can like everyone. Just leave the people you dislike alone, it isn't that deep. Someone pointing out a mistake you make or criticizing you isn't toxicity, and if you think it is, well, writing probably isn't the best career to pursue.
