She looked at him and stood up. She walked closer to him and gently took the cup from his hands. After doing so she leaned forward and kissed him on the lips carefully.

He shivers a bit and presses into the kiss a bit and pulls Jo a bit closer

She slid her arms around his neck smiling against his lips.

He broke the kiss after a little and he presses his forehead to hers as he looks into her eyes "I love you Jo" Tempest whispers in an almost inaudible voice, caressing her cheek softly

She could hear it, barely, but she did. "I think I may be in love with you too." She said in an almost equally soft tone. She gently ran her fingers through his hair in a soothing manner breathing just as softly.

"You make me happy the way no one else can Joanna…let's relax some." Temp muttered as he took her hand and brought her over to his couch, sitting down with her and gave her cheek a kiss as he felt something form in his chest…something that hadn't in a long time.

She smiled as she lay down beside Tempest. "You like snuggling?" She asked nuzzling her face into his shoulder.

"I sure do…especially…" He shifts into his canine like form "Like this…if that's okay. I can be whatever side of me you want." He says to her as she snuggles against him

"Anything's fine with me." She hummed snuggling closer into him. "Whatever is most comfortable…" She mumbled yawning.

Tempest pulled her closer and lays down with her, snuggling Jo against his chest "I want to make you the most comfortable as I can"

"I'm perfectly comfortable right…now…" She hummed starting to trail off a bit.

"Then I'm doing my job well." He says as he just wraps his arms around Jo, sharing his warmth with his love

"Y-yeah…you…you are…" She yawned again as her eyes fluttered closed.

Tempest slowly runs a hand through her hair as she starts to slip off to sleep

"I like…like that feel…"She started but slipped off before she could finish.

Tempest soon follows her into a deep, relaxed sleep with her still in his arms. It felt right. He felt complete once again.

Morning came sooner then expected and sunlight leaked through the windows. Joanna felt warm, and comforted, something she hadn't even felt when dating her Ex. No, this was different. Not just the outward feeling of soft and warmth, something on the inside. It all felt right. She opened her eyes and smiled remembering she had fallen asleep in Tempest's arms. She hummed and snuggled close trying not to wake him.

He gently stirred and one eye lazily opened and he muttered "good morning." he says as his ears flicked a bit. Temp His tail thumped against the couch a bit as they pressed as close as they could be.

She smiled. "Morning Temp." She hummed running her hand over his chest. "Do you have work today?"

"I mean not if I really wanted to…I could get Lexi to be in charge for the day…do you have work tonight?" Tempest asked, her hand running over the tuff of fur that stuck out the top of his white t-shirt.

"I don't think so. If it's Sunday I'm off. I really am lost on the days of the week actually." She chuckled shutting her eyes again. "But I can take off work too, I've got plenty of time."

"That sounds lovely." He said to her, kissing her cheek once more "What would you like to do today?"

"Not sure…I like snuggles." She giggled wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Glad cause I love that too." He rubbed her back as they spoke.

"Yay~ Snuggles for a bit, and then maybe we could go catch a movie or something?" She offered relaxing as he rubbed her.

"It sounds like a plan to me cutie" Tempest said to her as he rubbed his cheek against hers.

She flushed. "I am not." She said covering her face with her hands.

"Yes you are." he assured her as he gave her hands gentle kisses "You're the cutest, most attractive, kind woman I know."

She flushed more. "Stop it- I'm really not…" She whispered digging her face into his chest.

"Sorry if I'm embarrassing you." He softly said to her
