"Such faith," he rolled his eyes. "Hey, is it okay if your lipstick gets smudged?"
(My friend and I both love how casually he says this. XD)

(This is my favorite rp. For a couple reasons:
~My character exists but isn't really doing anything so I don't feel obliged to reply
~Memes
~Romance
~Cute dialogue
End my very very relevant speech.)
(Aw, thanks! Lol. I'm glad you like the memes, I just post one every hour or so.)
(Bumping.
Here's my story of the hour:
Yesterday my family went to the YMCA. My sister and I walked on the treadmills, and, sometime between when we started and when we ended, my foot started to hurt. It still hurt when we got back to our house, so I looked at it to make sure it was okay. Well, it's actually swollen in one spot and nobody has any idea why. So… Fun for me! Yay…)
(That happened to me once.)
(Bumping.)
( @»Callie« ?)
(sighs Another hour…)
(Oh, look… Another hour has passed…)
(hums the Jeopardy theme song)
(…I'm just rereading all the Huntzie stuff as I wait here…)
(Do you think we should add some tension to it? I mean, it would help with coming up more ideas.)
(…What kind of tension…? raises eyebrow suspisciously)
(In other words, "Yes.")
"M'kay," Kenzie said, moving to unlock the door. She opened it and walked inside, thankful that it was warmer inside than it was outside.
(You asked for tension. Well, here's some!)
Her phone suddenly started ringing, startling her so that she jumped a bit. She pulled it out of her purse and checked the caller ID: Jacob Wilson. Why was her step-father calling so late in the evening?
"Uh, hi, Jacob. What's up?" she answered, a questioning look on her face.
The voice on the other end of the line cleared their throat a couple of time before speaking hoarsely, "McKenzie… It's your mom. She was in an accident. She's, uh, she's gone."
Kenzie blinked a few times. "What?" she asked flatly, her face void of any expression.
"Your mom was in a car accident on her way home. She didn't make it."
"No. Nonononono," she whispered, her phone falling from her hand as she stared into the distance and tears started welling in her eyes.
(Bumping.)
(sighs Well, I've gtg…)
(Bumping)
(… when I said tension, that was NOT what I had in mind!!!!)
The tiredness Hunter was feeling immediately vanished as he saw the color draining from Kenzie’s face. Her phone slipped from her hand and tears began to fall from her face.
Throwing aside his bags, Hunter immediately walked over to Kenzie and pulled her into his arms tightly.
“What happened?” he asked quietly, worried.
(And jeez, step-dad, way to sound uncaring.)
(Lol. Well, I was just going to have her cat die, but…
And he's just kinda in shock, which makes him sound that way.)
"She can't be gone. No. No, she can't be," Kenzie whispered, eyes wide in shock. She barely noticed the tears rolling down her face or when Hunter wrapped his arms around her.
One of the best nights in her life had quickly turned into her worst.
(That's cruel but it's something I'd do. still in shock)
(Geez, I was like, "Whelp, tension, here we come!" And then I wrote that and I'm like, "What did I just do…?")
(Hugs Kenzie)
"Kenz?" Hunter cupped her cheeks and pressed their foreheads together. "What's wrong? What happened?"
Kenzie looked into Hunter's eyes, her own still wide and brimming with tears.
"My mom," she choked out through a sob. "She– she was in an– an accident. She didn't m-make it." She buried her face in Hunter's shoulder and sobbed, leaning into him because she couldn't hold herself up any longer.
Hunter's eyes widened as Kenzie sobbed into his shoulder. He tightened his hold on her. Damn it, why did everything have to go wrong in that moment? He was so glad that he had made Kenzie stay over. What if she had been alone when she got that call?
"Do you want to see your father?" Hunter murmured, knowing it was necessary that Kenzie had family support. Hunter was her boyfriend, but he wasn't her family. Not yet. She needed both of her fathers.
("Not yet." Lol.)
Kenzie nodded her head.
"But not– not yet," she sobbed. She couldn't see anyone right now; it was all just too much to handle at the moment, and it was really late, anyway. Although, she was thankful that she had Hunter with her. What would she have done if he wasn't there for her?
(xD)
Hunter hugged her tightly and rested his chin on her head, his eyes closed as his girlfriend sobbed. He gritted his teeth, knowing how Kenzie felt at losing her mother.
"It's gonna be okay, babe," Hunter whispered. "I'm here for you…"
After a while, Kenzie's crying turned into deep breaths as her tears stopped and the day's events caught back up with her. She was exhausted; she just wanted to curl up in her bed and cry her eyes out.
Gently pulling back from Hunter, she whispered hoarsely, "Thanks."
