Lucas shook his head. "Not yet… I don't have super high hopes after the way I passed out on Friday, though…"
Lucas shook his head. "Not yet… I don't have super high hopes after the way I passed out on Friday, though…"
"It's alright I'm here, so if you need me just yell. I told my teacher I'm going to the bathroom, so I better go. I'll see you in gym next block okay?" Nick kissed his forehead.
"Okay." Lucas kissed him back once more before he turned and started walking away. "I love you…" He said softly, just loud enough for Nick to hear, and left.
He smiled warmly before he whispered, “I love you too,” Nick got back in his seat taking notes with a smile on his face. The bell rang and it was finally gym class.
(Skip the day or do you have an idea?)
(I mean, we could always do something in gym)
(What are you thinking for gym?)
(Idk we could have a bit of locker room bullying since these people all watched him pass out and be bridal carried out by Nick)
(nods I like it, you’re turn to post)
(Alrighty)
Lucas went into the locker room, already feeling uneasy. He hesitated before pulling off his shirt to change, looking around for Nick.
Nick came in a little after Lucas and flashed a smile to him. He started to change as well. "You okay?"
"Mhmm. You?" He pulled on his gym shirt, looking up at Nick.
"Hey, Luke." Lucas froze. That was not a voice he wanted to hear.
"Er… y-yes, Dylan?" He responded weakly.
"You've been hanging out with Nicholas an awful lot."
"Uh…"
"Any reason why? It's a little… you know… suspicious."
“Guys knock it off okay. I can have friends other than you,” Nick touched one of their shoulders.
Dylan shrugged off Nick's hand. "I think you two are a little more than friends." There was a sneer in his voice that made Lucas nervous. Suddenly, Lucas felt himself pinned against the locker. He was dazed for a second, but then he was just anxious. His heart felt like it would pound out of his chest.
“What’s your problem!” Nick pushed the Dylan off of Lucas. “He already fainted can’t you give him a brake? Why do you care so much about who I hang out with? It’s not your choice to make!”
Lucas cowered against the lockers, slightly behind Nick. "What's your problem?!" Dylan replied sharply. "Why do you even care? He doesn't do anything important anyways." Lucas turned his eyes to the floor at that.
“Neither do you. Just so you know he’s better than anyone of you this locker room. He does more than you ever will and…” he looked back at Lucas asking if he could say that he’s in love.
Lucas glanced up at Nick and blushed a bit at that look. He stayed silent, honestly unsure what to do, but his eyes told Nick that he wouldn't try to influence his decision. Dylan scoffed, crossing his arms. "What? You like him?"
"No, I love him. You can do whatever the fuck you want to me, but you do not hurt him. Do you understand me? I don't care homophobic you are, but if you lay a single finger on him I will kill you," he growled as his eyes grew with rage.
"I'd like to see you try, but you two honestly aren't worth my time." Dylan tutted, shaking his head in disgust as he walked off. Lucas drew in a wavering breath when he was gone, his face flushed and his heart racing.
He gave a heavy sigh and looked back at Lucas. "Are you okay?"
He hesitated before nodding. "I-I… uh… yeah. Thanks, Nick."
Nick gave a soft smile, "No, problem, go get changed. Meet me in the gym."
Lucas nodded again and decided to go into one of the stalls to change. He pulled on his gym shorts, shoved his normal clothes into a locker, and went out into the gym to stand beside Nick.
"4 laps! Let's. Go!" The teacher yelled.
Nick sighed and started running.
Lucas ran after Nick, starting to get winded rather quickly. Since he was so malnourished, this was a common occurrence. He panted as quietly as he could as he tried to keep up with Nick.
Nick was running perfectly fine since he played sports. He turned around and started running backwards. “Are you okay?”
Lucas nodded. "Y-Yeah, j… just out of… breath…" He stammered, stumbling a little.
“You take a break you know. Couch won’t mind,” Nick explained, helping him not fall.
He shook his head. "I c-can't… I need my… my engagement grade or whatever…" He kept going, vaguely aware that the coach was now watching them.
“Lucas look at me. Everyone needs to take a break at some point. I’m doing this because I care about you, not because I want to control you. I don’t want you to faint again and give my a heart attack. So, please sit on the bench.”
