Cora put her hands up as if in surrender, still smiling. "Well, your the one who's hands were shaking. Are you sure caffeine's a good idea right now?" She sat for just a moment by herself in Harrison's car, smiling to herself. She had missed him. She opened the car door and stepped out. "Alright, I trust you. Lead the way."

Nas flopped onto the couch. "I wish they got here sooner, I want to see the girl- Oooh! Is that them? Are they outside?" And as soon as they had jumped onto the couch, they were off, pressing their face against the window.

"You're imagining thigs." Semele muttered, throwing her arm over her eyes. "Dear Harrison is still out picking up the girl. I believe Noel made them stop for coffee." There was a twitch under her skin, that dangerous one that told her that she needed to drink, hunt, sprint through the woods until she lost all knowledge of her own name. She sighed heavily. Her master was certainly a hungry one, the maenad would need to sneak out once more this evening.

Soon, Noel would have passed by the coffee where Harrison and his friend, well, ‘friend’, were supposed to be at. It was along the path towards the park after all. After a moment of thought, he decided to walk into the shop. The bell on the door rang.

@The-Magician group

Harrison had placed the order of drinks for his housemates, and was waiting for Cora to decide which beverage she wanted, when a shudder ran down his back. The bell above the door rang as it swung open, and from the corner of his eye he thought he saw a familiar boy… Upon turning his head, his eyes widened when that was exactly what he saw. “Noel? What are you doing here?” Harrison’s voice wasn’t as harsh as another person’s would, he was more surprised that the swan had left the house to go to the coffee shop. Was he feeling alright?

The boy jumped a bit upon getting called by his ‘landlord’. He turned in that direction and gave a nervous yet quite adorable smile. He started to write on his notebook.
”I was just at the park earlier, getting fresh air you know? So I decided to stop by to say hi” he showed before he turned to the person by Harrison.
He flipped his notes to a pre-written page.
”Hi! I’m Noel, you must be Harrison’s friend, right?” he covered his mouth and nose with the notebook, showing the page so that the person there could read it easily.

"Oh sorry-" Cora looked down at the boy and noticed the note in his hand. "Oh! Um hello!" She glanced at Harrison and he seemed to know the boy. He wasn't looking at him like who-the-hell-are-you so she assumed it was safe. "Yes, I'm Cora. Nice to meet you Noel."

@CasiCasino group

Noel nodded, covering the bottom of his face with his mouth. He flipped to another page which was prewritten ahead of time.
”As you may notice, I am unfortunately mute so I communicate via this notebook” the boy showed. He, though, was fine with this slight disability. His ‘family’ accepted it so why shouldn’t he?

The door to the coffee shop opened, and two rambunctious children ran in. Their mother, an athletic woman with long flowing silver hair, followed after them, her eyes covered by dark shades. She made her way to the counter while the little boy and girl went and sat down by the window, still playing with each other, and placed an order for three soy macchiatos. While making her way back over to her children, she stopped behind Noel and whispered something to him. "I'll be home in a bit."

@CasiCasino group

Noel, though jumping a bit at the words, eyed the figure and nodded.
Harrison’s definitely going to have a hard time dealing with everyone while having Cora over. Noel thought he could help with some of them regarding their actions but some are just… too all over the place.
He stood there still, waiting for the two to finish.

@The-Magician group

"Come join us." The woman's eyes appeared to glow through the glasses as she stared at Noel.
Her drinks were placed on the counter, on a round black tray, which she carried on one hand while walking over to her children. She sat down on a cream sofa, leaving space for if Noel were to join her.

Harrison stood, frozen, throughout the entire encounter between the woman and Noel. He hadn't seen her for three days, and now she shows up out of the blue with her children? Instinctively his fists clenched, though he didn't dare speak out against her. Especially not in the company of others.

@CasiCasino group

Noel mouthed a curse which he covered with his notebook. In the end, though, he walked towards the woman and sat down with her.
He wrote something on his notebook.
”Tell me what you need from me so we can get this over with”

@The-Magician group

The woman's back was towards Harrison and Cora, so they wouldn't be able to see her face when she removed her sunglasses, revealing two eyes that were completely glowing blue. No whites or pupils to be seen, and faint smoke seemed to radiate from them when she blinked. Her voice was hushed as she spoke, they didn't need humans eavesdropping on their conversation. "We have been in our human forms for too long, and already mine is starting to dwindle from fatigue.." she pointed to her eyes, and the top of her head where a wide brim fedora sat. "I need you to be careful, and should you notice a single change, find me."

@CasiCasino group

Noel wasn’t fully agreeing with what she was saying. He had been in his human form for… who knows how long and yet he’s still feeling alright with it.
”Give me a brief of what you want to talk about if that chance comes…” he wrote down and showed it to her.
He smiled to the children a bit. God, they were troublesome but who’s to say, they’re still ‘young’ after all.

@The-Magician group

The woman knew that Noel didn't agree with her. There was a slight hesitance, and she wasn't a fan of it.
The children finished their drinks, smiling contently, finally calm. They turned to their mother, tilting their heads. They knew something was wrong.
In one sudden movement, the woman stood from her seat, replacing the glasses back over her eyes. "Perhaps coming home won't be such a good idea." she turned to look at Harrison, and smiled a beautiful cold smile. "I think I'll stay out tonight as well."
With those last words, she and her children made her way to the door and left. All that remained on the table from where that sat, was an untouched drink and a card with Harrison's name on it.

@CasiCasino group

Noel shook his head in much disagreement. He stood up and noticed the card. He picked it up and went back to Harrison.
”She is still as mischievous as ever…” he wrote on the notebook as he handed the card to Harrison.

@The-Magician group

Harrison took the card, hesitantly, while his eyes were focused on the three moving figures outside. The two children had been replaced by what he assumed to be pups, while the woman remained as she was. "I miss having her around." he sighed, opening up the card:
'Harrison,
Things have been tough for me lately. My kids are growing up, and their father can't look after them on his own.
I know that I am bound to you, but I am willing to put my life at risk in order to make sure my kids are okay.
They're going back to their dad's tonight, though whether or not I will return home is another matter.
You know I don't belong there.
All my love,
Lyra x'

Harrison rubbed the back of his head, exhaling heavily when he finished reading the card. He took the drinks from the counter, passing Noel's his and turning to both Cora and the boy. "I think we had better be getting back, I would expect the others are dying from boredom."

@Moxie group

Cora watched the figure of the women disappear in the distance, missing Harrison and Noel's interaction. She turned and smiled at Harrison. "Alright! Let's go then. Um . . . " She looked down at the card in his hand and then over her shoulder through the window. Her smile melted into confusion. "Who was that? Do you know her?" she asked, as they started to walk out of the shop.

@The-Magician group

“That woman?” Harrison asked after a moment, his eyes looked almost glassy. “She’s one of the room mates, though she hasn’t been home for a while.” he glanced at Noel, silently telling the boy that was all he intended to tell Cora. Now wasn’t the time to be explaining the complicated relationship between himself and Lyra. With a gentle smile, Harrison looked back at Cora. “Let’s go.”
He made his way to the car, drinks in hand, and stopped to look back at Noel. “Do you want a lift?”

@CasiCasino group

Noel nodded, keeping the notebook and pen in his messenger bag as he got in after Harrison. He got out a cute mask and wore it adjusted himself to the backseat of the car. He gave Harrison a thumbs up, saying voicelessly that he’s ready to go.

@The-Magician group

(I’m just going to say that Cora is also in the car)
With everyone ready, Harrison started the engine up and slowly pulled away from the coffee shop. He reached back to put the drinks on the seat beside Noel, before carefully taking off down the long stretch to his house. It was a silent journey, though that made it all the more pleasant, and soon enough the house began to appear in the distance.
The car slowed to a halt in front of the house, at which point Harrison sighed and tried to brace himself for the amount of awkwardness that was about to take place.

Semele had been laying lazily on the biggest couch in the living room, popping a fat juicy grape into her mouth every few moments. She was utterly bored since it seemed that the entire house had other things to do than entertain her. All she wanted was to cast a few spells on them.

She perked right up as she heard the car along the drive, leaping up and darting to the windows beside the door. Her eyes flashed with excitement, as she peeked around the curtain. It has been so long since anyone else had been welcomed into the house, so it was certainly not a novelty that she was willing to miss.

@Spider-man

((Sort do forgot about this sorry.)
Cat came down when she heard the car outside. She wanted to meet Harrison’s new friend. She won’t scare her away. Not yet at least. She saw Samele and walked behind her. “They back?” She asked.
