"It's meme day, we mostly just mess around today at work and well…play meme music cause we all need that kind of fun sometimes." Of course Tempest as a boss would make that a thing, for he was still young "Plus we've gotten like a boat ton done lately."
"Oh fun- you have a favorite meme?" She asked with a quiet laugh.
"Oh you'll see." He said with a grin as he tried to find a parking spot in the crowded coffee shop parking lot.
"Now I'm curious- you gotta tell me." She said sitting up. "You can't leave it off like that."
"well I love the Ellie Badge from UP and the Monster's Inc. Main theme." He confessed as he pulled into a spot
"Aw so you're a Disney boy." She smiled poking his cheek. "I see you."
"Always have been…except that movie that recently got a 2nd one and I still refuse to speak its name."
"Aw Frozen 2? Or the new Maleficent?" She chuckled leaning over to him.
"Oh Maleficent was fine." Tempest responded as he opened his car door "The other one…" He let out a sigh "just no"
"What was so wrong with it?" She asked sliding out of the car.
"Plot was sub-par and the songs got so annoying after a while" Temp vented as he shut the car door and locked it.
"I haven't seen it yet- so I can't agree or disagree." She laughed shutting her door.
"Consider yourself lucky." He laughed along as he then held the coffee shop door open for her
She smiled and walked in. "Thank you good sir." She laughed.
(I gtg, night!)
(night!) Tempest nodded and entered after her
"What are you thinking for coffee?" She asked turning to him.
(Morning!)
He looked to the blackboard painted wall behind the counter that had the menu written on it in chalk "Oh that s'mores one sounds really good, I don't know coffee too well…what do you call that brew again?" He asked pointing to it.
"Frappuchino?" She asked looking at it. "Is that what it is?"
"Heck if I know." Tempest chuckled "What are you thinkin' of getting?"
"My usual, mint cappuccino." She laughed a little.
"Nice. Real wintery." He said as he approached the counter "I'll pay this time."
"You don't have to- I can." She argued pulling out a gift card. "Or at least use this."
He took it with a grin "Alright then calm down." I gently poked her nose this time and turned, ordering their drinks. A sign could be seen by the register only humans will be served
Joanna noticed it for the first time ever. 'Crap' she thought and pulled him aside. "How have I never noticed that before?" She asked softly so only he could hear:
"Well…I look human it's fine. Yeah it's messed up though." Tempest whispered back "It's why I always look like this in public."
She felt awful. She had no clue! "I'm so sorry Temp." She frowned and put a hand on his shoulder.
"A lot of places are like this. It's not new." He shrugged "We can still order if I look like this." He said motioning to his human face
She nodded sliding her hand in his for extra security. "I'm still sorry, let's order and get out of here."
"It's okay Jo." Tempest softly said as they ordered, the front worker not batting an eye as she got them their drinks. Tempest even left a bit of his own change in the tip jar.
"Thanks." She mumbled still holding his hand. "We ready to go?"
