Tempest chuckled a bit and put her back on the ground "Sorry I forget I'm bigger in this form sometimes." He started to turn back human, not as warm but more close to her size now
Tempest chuckled a bit and put her back on the ground "Sorry I forget I'm bigger in this form sometimes." He started to turn back human, not as warm but more close to her size now
She smiled at him and giggled. "It's fine, I just am not used to being picked up." She poked his nose.
That stopped him from fully shifting, causing him to sneeze and go back to his anthro form
She laughed. "Sorry- did I do that?" She asked stepping away from him.
"it's fine." he grinned "I just can't go out in public in this form"
"I can see why." She laughed taking what would be his hand. "If we leave a little bit early can we stop and get coffee?"
"Sure just let meβ¦" and he fully shifted back to human form, still holding her hand "I'm glad I moved here." he told her
"Why's that?" She asked pursing her lips.
"Wouldn't have met you if I hadn't"
She turned a light pink, looking down at their feet. "I guess that's true."
He gave her cheek a gentle kiss "alright I'm gonna let you get changed and I'll do the same so we'll be ready." He told her
She turned a brighter pink and nodded. "O-Ok, see you in like 15 minutes." She mumbled letting go of his hand.
He hummed happily as he got ready for the day, pulling on a stranger things hoodie over his shirt. He brushed his teeth, taking a bit more time trying in vain to comb his hair down, having to pull a shattered comb from his thick hair
Joanna pulled on some sweat pants and a tank top. She grabbed a loose box cut sweat shirt and pulled it on. "Alrighty Jo-Jo, let's go." She smiled pulling her hair into a messy bun and walking out the door sliding on some slip on shoes.
Tempest was outside his door, tying his blue sneakers, a little piece of comb still hanging from his hair
Jo looked down at him. "Stand still." She said running a hand through his hair. "You have something stuck in your hair."
"A comb snapped in my hair, must have missed some." Tempest explained
She nodded getting the last bit out. "Looks like it- here." She held out the piece of comb.
He took it and then suddenly looked back to his door "I forgot my sheets." He went back in and exited with his fur covered sheets "I gotta put these in before we leave."
"Aw ok, want me to go and start the car?" She asked holding out a hand.
"Sure they're in my right pocket" He couldn't really hand anything over right now.
She nodded. "You want me to get that for you?" She asked walking closer to him.
"Please if you would." He asked, his arms full at the moment
She nodded and slid her hand in his pocket pulling out the keys. "Alright, I'll go get the car started." She smiled and turned around headed off to the car.
Tempest went down to the basement of the apartment and put his sheets in, starting the machine after pouring in detergent and fabric softener, starting on his way back up the stairs
Joanna had made it to the car and started it. She pulled out her phone and slowly scrolled through a social media platform waiting for Tempest.
Soon he had made it back and opened his car door "Know any good coffee places?" He asked as he put on his seatbelt
She looked up from her phone and over to him. "Well, the coffee shop on Cedar Pine is pretty good. Or if you want the place from yesterday that's on Avalor." Joanna set her phone in between them. "What'cha thinking?"
"That that coffee was great." He chuckled as they pulled out and "But I would love to try another place so to Cedar Pine we go."
"Sounds good." She smiled laying her head back and looked at him. He was actually pretty cute, his blonde hair and chipper attitude. Those stuck out the most to Joanna. She had no clue why. But they did. "So, what are we doing today at work?"
