Almost an hour and a half later Tempest slowly started to wake up, letting out a whining yawn. He looked down at his bed.
"I shed" he remembers with a laugh "Dear lord everything's covered in fur." he gathered his sheets so he could drop it down to the apartment washing machine on the way out.
Joanna sat in her small living room with a cup of coffee watching the news. "What time isn't it?" She asked herself checking her phone.
Tempest spent some time hooking up his ps4 and plugged in Detroit Become Human to continue where he was until it was time to get ready.
Joanna groaned seeing it was only 5:30 and slid off the couch walking into her room. She stepped out onto her deck and hummed softly.
During the game Tempest had to pick what one of the protagonists had to do for a final stand against the humans and of course Temp picked the 'sing' option. So the singing began from the android Marcus in game.
Joanna gave up and walked through her apartment and over to Tempest's. She knocked on the door hoping he would answer.
He paused the game and opened his door "Hey Jo." he said, still in his flash tee and boxers, forgetting he had shifted forms.
She looked at him and flushed. "U-uh hey. J-just was gonna ask if… we could hang out… until w-we had to leave?" Her face was super red at this point, and she was super fidgety.
He opened the door more and smiled "Of course" he went back into his room for a second "Let me just put on some pants." he says from inside his room
She nodded rubbing her arm awkwardly. "Sounds great." She mumbled walking into his kitchen.
Soon he came back out "Sorry was just finishing up a video game." he said with a shrug "Need anything? Eaten yet?"
She shook her head. "I-I'm fine." She gave him a soft smile and leaned against the counter. "So how'd you sleep?"
"Wonderful. What about you?" Tempest asked her as he walked into the kitchen, his tail wagging behind him a bit, when it thumped against his refrigerator his eyes widened as he remembered what form he was in
She shrugged. "Alright I guess. You ok?" She asked crossing her arms.
"Just forgot I shifted." He responded, his ears flattened against his head head in embarrassment. "And I'm shedding like crazy at night." Temp chuckled
Joanna smiled and laughed. "That a down side to being what you are?" She asked pulling herself on the counter.
"One of them yeah. Good at keeping warm though." He responded "I sleep better in this form anyway"
"Maybe I should try I think some time." She laughed yawning. "Then I could get a decent nights sleep."
"Well I'm not a werewolf so can't let you try it yourself." He chuckled, his tail thumping against the counter over and over.
She smiled softly. "But aren't werewolves in a lot of pain and become mindless?" She asked curious.
"That's what most people think and I'll say that that virus seems to affect people differently…so it depends I've observed." he answered
She nodded. "That makes sense." She slid off the counter. "How do you think it'd effect you?"
"I dunno, cause I can't be affected by it but…I suppose it would depend on getting used to it, finding ways to manage it. What about you?"
"I'm not sure…." She replied tapping her chin. "What would you think?"
"I think you'd be able to keep some of your humanity when you'd turn, the virus has mutated to help hosts survive better." He seemed to be thinking hard about this, his ears twitching as he did
"That's nice to know." She smiled and made her way over to him.
Tempest held his arms out again thinking she wanted a hug.
She lit up and went for a hug. "Yay hugs!" She giggled wrapping her arms around his waist.
Tempest gave off a warm heat in the hug, lifting her just a bit.
"Eep!" She yelped feeling her feet off the ground. "Careful there." She chuckled.
