Silas looked at Wren. "I have to! It's literally in my blood." He argued.
Silas looked at Wren. "I have to! It's literally in my blood." He argued.
"Like gramma said, blood dictates… ehhh, whatever, I didn´t met her…" she looked at Silas, "Anything I can do to get you out of it?"
"Let me save your life." He said simply.
"K, imma jump from that building and you´ll catch me" Wren starts to run towards an elevator
"Woah- woah woah. It doesn't work like that. You can't put yourself in danger. It kinda just has to happen." He said reaching out and grabbing her arm.
"Listen kid, if there´s something I learned from my job is that I´m always in danger, just…" she makes a weird gesture, "Just follow me to my apartament and see if something happens on the way…"
Silas sighed. "Alright- alright." He said following behind slowly.
"You know, you could make a good agent, but you know…" they go across a shady looking place, "It only works if you are willing to die by basically everything"
"Would I be able to?" He asked kinda to himself.
"We let everyone join!" some people start to look at them in a weird way "Like, we got every kind of people there"
Silas nodded. "Cool…" He trailed off and pulled his hood up. "Though I attract a lot of attention with my wings."
"Not really, I mean, my aunt looks like a fish, we got skeletons, reptile looking folks, giants, trolls…" she counts something with her fingers, "Pretty much everything!"
"Oh- wow. I guess I'd be one of the most normal looking ones." He laughed shoving his hands in his pockets.
"Yep, I mean, my dad himself looked…" she points at herself, "The eyes and volcanic rock thing, I got this from him"
He nodded. "Well I think it looks cool." He smiled at her.
"Makes you the firts one…" she smiles, the people looking at them early start to follow, "I mean, he had even more weird fire related stuff and well, you know, some fae genetics were stronger on him…"
"Oh really? Yeah I only got the wings. My dad was an "angle" my mom was human." He nodded noticing the people.
"Sounds interesting! I mean, mom was human and dad was half fae…" she looks at the people, "Some people say my blood smells like one but I always seen myself as human"
He nodded. "You look human, I'd say that." He replied picking up his pace a bit.
"But then again, what does human mean after all?" she gaves the people a look that can only be described as a grin full of sharp teeth, sparks and smoke
Silas shrugged. "Not us- I guess." He replied noticing her look.
"Well, if it´s by appearance, we aren´t that, if it by emotions, everyone able to feel those should be…" she stops grinning as the people back away, "Human is a broad term…"
(gtg, stuff to do, again)
(Alrighty!)
"It is I guess." He shrugged. "I mean I guess I agree with you."
"But hey, we save the existential crisis for the weekend!" she keps walking and looking at the people around the place
"What do you mean?" He asked glancing at her, his head still held low.
"Just a little inside joke…" Wren streches her arms "Having some sort of existential crisis is like a thing around the every field agent…"
"Aw ok." He nodded watching her now. "How far are we from your apartment?"
"I´ll say…" she stopped and looked around, "Just a few minutes, if you count the time we´ll spend on the elevator…" she points at a black building with bars on the windows
