"I will later, after he calms down." said Eclipse softly, "And not before." he sighed, "I don't mean to be unreasonable, but I'm not leaving him alone when he's like this."

"I wasn't asking you to. I can send Aron in. Or wait until he's asleep. I didn't mean right now." Errol replied.
Nik was shaking still, but the tears, at least, had stopped for now.

"I know…" eclipse sighed, rubbing the other's back, "We'll talk later.." he said softly, not wanting to upset the other further.

Errol nodded. "Alright." He left.
Nikolas was shaking still, leaning against Eclipse. "I'm s-sorry…" He whispered.

Eclipse's attention flicked to Nik as he spoke, "What in the world are you sorry for love?" he asked softly.

"I'm not…I…" He shook his head a little, and buried his face in Eclipse's chest. "I don't know…"

Eclipse sighed, "It's alright love.." he said softly, "I got you.."

Nik shuddered. "I'm sorry." He mumbled again, biting his lip and holding onto Eclipse desperately. He didn't know what to do. Didn't know what to say or anything.

"Don't be.." said Eclipse softly, "None of this is your fault. None of it." he sighed, holding him close again. If anything it's mine, if i hadn't killed my father in the fray, then I wouldn't have had to leave, I could've stayed and searched for you personally….

"Yes it is. If I hadn't a-attacked Seren, then…" Nik was shaking again. "Then none of this would have happened, a-and…and my dad w-wouldn't be dead, and…"

"You weren't the one who attacked, that was the creature that uses you when your mind is asleep…" said Eclipse firmly. And your dad's death was Seren's fault.."`

Nikolas was shaking still. "It's still my fault…if I wasn't cursed, then…none of this would have happened, and I…" he swallowed.

"You can't help that some weirdo cursed you" said Eclipse, "It's jerks like them that give magic users a bad name."

Nik shuddered a little. He let out a breath, still clinging to Eclipse. "Can I have some water?" he asked softly, looking up at Eclipse.

Eclipse nodded, "Can I put you down on the cot and get it?" he asked softly.

Nik nodded a little, reluctantly letting go of Eclipse, though he still kept his eyes fastened on Eclipse's face.

Eclipse nodded, setting him down off of his lap, "I'll be right back," he said softly, moving across the tent, making sure the other could see where he was to grab a couple canteens out of a box.

Nik nodded, and watched Eclipse worriedly, hoping that he wouldn't leave and letting out a breath of relief when he didn't. He didn't want to be alone with his thoughts right now.

Eclipse came back a moment later with two canteens full of water, handing one to Nik as he sat back down on the cot with him, pulling him close.

Nik took it and drank, leaning against Eclipse contentedly. He sighed quietly, and closed his eyes. "Thank you." he whispered softly.

"Of course love.." he said softly, taking a long drink himself.

Nik nodded a little, and leaned his head against Eclipse's shoulder. "I'm s-sorry that I've caused so many problems…"

"It's not your fault.." he said almost automatically. "It really isn't." he hummed, "And no, I'm not gonna stop saying it. Not till you believe me."

Nik nodded again, closing his eyes and sticking close to Eclipse's side. "Okay…" he whispered.

Eclipse smiled a little, hugging him tightly once again.

Nik flinched a little, shuddering and closing his eyes tighter.

Eclipse noticed the reaction, "Nik?" he asked softly, hoping he hadn't scared him.

Nik swallowed. "S-sorry…" he said quietly, shivering for a moment.

"It's perfectly fine…" said Eclipse softly, "I can't expect you to be normal after spending a month with Seren's men."

Nik flinched again, closing his eyes tightly. "I-I know…" he whispered softly, shivering again.
