"Of course." Aron replied with a faint smile.
Nik inhaled, opening his eyes. He shook his head slowly. "No, it's…you can." he replied slowly, looking at Eclipse with tired golden eyes.

Eclipse nodded, giving him a faint smile. Despite being beat up and malnourished, the other was still pretty good looking, and the tired look of the other was just plain cute. But admiring him could come later, after the bath. So, at Nik's confirmation Eclipse carefully and gently moved to strip the other of his shirt and pants, making sure every movement was careful, gentle, and obvious, so the other could tellhim when something wasn't okay.

Nik swallowed as his pants came off, closing his eyes again. There was bruising all over his legs, too, up his thighs and down his calves, too.

Eclipse frowned at the bruising, but said nothing, moving instead to scoop Nik up again and place him into the tub, making sure he was okay before grabbing soap and a washcloth.

Nik opened his eyes, looking up at Eclipse, biting his lip a little. He ran his hands through his hair, rust colored flakes of dry blood falling out as he did so.

Eclipse hummed, "Want me to start with your hair?" he asked, watching him for aa moment.

Nik nodded quickly. "Yes please." he replied softly.

Eclipse nodded, grabbing a small bucket nearby. "I'm gonna pour this over you, 'kay?" he said softly, filling it with bath water.

Nik nodded a little, closing his eyes and holding his breath as Eclipse poured it over his head. He sighed softly.

Eclipse hummed, grabbing the soap and working some of it into the other's hair, careful to keep it away from his eyes as he worked it through the other's hair.

Nik kept his eyes closed, leaning into Eclipse's hands a little. He was so touchstarved, so desperate and needy for a kind, gentle touch, that he couldn't help it.

Eclipse was happy to give it to him, smiling when the other leaned into his touch, making sure to massage the other's scalp before picking up the bucket again.

Nik smiled a little at the scalp massage, and kept his eyes closed against the water that Eclipse poured on his head.

Eclipse dumped a couple more buckets on him to make sure his hair was actually clean, before grabbing the washcloth and the soap, "Mind if I do your back?" he asked.

Nik shook his head a little, and turned so that Eclipse could reach his back better. His back was crisscrossed with barely healed wounds. From whips, burns, cuts…so many.

Eclipse winced when he saw it, sighing as he carefully lathered up the washcloth. "Ths may sting…" he said, knowing the soap would irritate the still open wounds.

Nik nodded a little. He stiffened and winced as the soap made contact with the sounds, swallowing dryly and clenching his jaw. He didn't make a sound.

Eclipse hummed, gently cleaning everything, his touch feather light as he tried to protect the bigger wounds ith layers of his aura.

Nik flinched occasionally, trying not to jump away from Eclipse's hands. He knew that the other male wouldn't purposefully hurt him, but it still stung.

Eclipse bit back a whimper whenever the other flinched. "I' sorry love… I'm almost done.."

"It's okay." Nik whispered, wrapping his arms around himself to try and keep himself from jumping.

Eclipse wanted to say it wasn't, but he kept his mouth shut and quickly finished the last of it, grabbing the bucket once more.

Nik shivered a little as the bucket was poured over his head again, his eyes remaining shut tightly.

(NIGHT)
Eclipse did it twice more, once on each shoulder to try and get him clean, "Anywhere else that needs a good scrubbing?" he asked softly.

Nik shook his head a little. "No, that's…that's everything, I think." he replied.

Eclipse nodded, "Do you wanna stay in the water, or get out?"

"I…out." Nik replied softly, looking around for a towel. He bit his lower lip.

Eclipse nodded, producing a towel before reaching to help Nik out of the bath.

Nik gratefully took Eclipse's arm and getting out of the bath, taking the towel and wrapping it around his waist, shivering a little bit now that he wasn't in the warm water.

Eclipse hummed, hugging him a little bit, "You okay?" he asked, "There's a clean outfit on the other side of the tub if you wanna get dressed…"
