She nodded, finally answering him once she was a ways away from the doctor and the room they were in, "Yeah, you haven't eaten anything since I found you so you're probably starving as well, maybe I'll splurge a little and we can go eat a huge meal at one of the bars downtown, that or I can order pizza or something to my house and we can eat there. If you don't want to deal with more people." Her eyes flicked to him and the now bandaged wound on his head and she nodded once more, "I'll order pizza, that'll be easier."

(Sorry I vanished yesterday, was putting up Christmas lights ^^ I'm working all day today, so I'll probably see you tomorrow)
"Okay." Oscar seemed to easily remember the way out of the hospital and ended up being the one in front as they got to the door. "If that doctor really didn't know anything else about me or what I am, why did he tell you that I would turn on you as if he knew all about my kind?"

@gracehustle

(It's alright!)
"Most people's thoughts of your kind has been influenced by injuries your kind has brought and other terrible things," She explained, quickening her pace to catch up to him as they reached her truck and she unlocked the doors, "No one really knows anything about your kind, besides the Goldenrod Agency, and they only want to hurt your kind."

Oscar got into the truck, frowning. "They should be afraid of me," he said after a minute. "I am not them, and I could destroy them all if I wanted. I don't remember what I am, or where I came from, but I do remember how to break things." He paused for a minute, then added in a lighter tone, "What is pizza, anyway?"

@gracehustle

"I trust you not to destroy things or people though, and I'll help you try to figure out what you are and where you came from." She got into the truck as well and quickly buckled before starting up the car and motioning for him to buckle as well, "You'll see what it is, and I'm sure you'll like it, it's a staple food for really anyone."

@gracehustle

Honor nodded and watched with a tiny smile as he finally buckled and she backed out of the parking lot. "How much are you going to eat?" She asked, knowing she could easily finish a pizza on her own and trying to decide how many more she would order for him, "I'll get something for desert too if you still want me too, maybe cheesy breadsticks as well."

@gracehustle

"Probably a bird, or a bat," She replied, laughing at how curious he seemed, "They won't hurt us, if you're worried." to be safe she decided just to order three pizzas, knowing she could always eat the leftovers for breakfast the next morning before work.

"There's another one," Oscar said, hitting his hand against the windshield in his haste to point it out. It was indeed a bat, swerving to avoid the truck as it hunted for insects. Oscar watched it like a cat until it darted out of sight, then turned and gave Honor a funny look. "Why do you keep doing that? That sort of 'ehehe' thing. What does it mean?"

@gracehustle

"Oh it's just a little brown bat, probably out to catch it's dinner." Honor glanced at the bat as it swerved around her car, careful to continue driving as she answered Oscar's next two questions, "You mean laughing? It's something we do when we're happy, to put it simply, or when we see something we think is funny. That's the way I think of it anyway."

@gracehustle

(ok! HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYYYYY!!!!!!)
"I think your curiosity and understanding of the world are funny, not yourself in particular," She explained as she turned the last corner and parked in the driveway of her house, "And with that thought, we're here. I'll answer more of your questions after we get inside and I order food. Alright?"

@gracehustle

Honor laughed again and shook her head, getting out of the car and locking it behind the two of them, "I'll try to find a dictionary, then you can know what any word means." She walked to the door and unlocked it before stepping inside and flicking on the lights once again, "Maybe I'll even miss work tomorrow and help you understand the world."

@gracehustle

She nodded and set to work looking for a dictionary as she dialed up the pizza place and ordered. Honor had no clue what kind of pizza he would want so she got a cheese, pepperoni and supreme pizza, that way he had choices. It took her awhile to find a dictionary, eventually pulling one out from a forgotten corner in her closet that held her old school stuff. "Here you go Oscar, pizza will be here soon," She said, walking back out to the main room and tossing the book on the couch, "If you have any more questions just find me, but I'm going to be folding laundry in my room."

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

"Okay," Oscar called, glancing after her curiously but deciding that the dictionary was more interesting than whatever 'folding laundry' was. He flipped to the first page and frowned at the indecipherable squiggles for a minute, then realized that they were just the same as the name list Honor had written for him and began the process of deciphering them. Soon his eyes were speeding down the page as he took in definition after definition.
"Honor," he said eventually without looking up. "Did you know that they sort the words in here by the letter they start with? And then the second letter, and then the third letter, until the end of the word? It's really organized, the way they did that."

@gracehustle

She laughed but nodded, hearing his comment from her room and nodding to herself, "Yeah, they did that so it was nice and organized like that. It makes it easier to find specific words if you're just looking for one definition." Honor still wasn't used to Oscar's cluelessness to the world but every time he asked a question it reminded her of that and made her smile. Plus it was fun, thinking of the best way to explain something since it made her rethink.

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

"Oh yeah," Oscar remembered. "I was going to figure out what 'ordering' meant. Ordering….." It took him some time to find it, but when he did he straightened in triumph. "How much do you use a dictionary, Honor? Do you already know all the words in here?"

@gracehustle

"I've barely used a dictionary, but that's because we learn words as we grow up through childhood. I know most of the words, but not all," She called back, hanging clothes in her closet and taking the now empty basket around the room, filling it with dirty clothes. Soon her room was clean of dirty clothes and she walked back out, looking over at Oscar with a sudden thought in mind, "I still need to get you some more clothes, maybe I'll go do that once the pizza gets here." No one else lived in her house besides herself, and she was guessing her clothes wouldn't fit him, so she would have to go buy some clothes for him.

@gracehustle

"Sure, unless you want to stay here and eat, it won't take me long," She replied, smiling when she heard a car pulling up to her house and walking off to get her wallet, "Here the food is now, I'll let you try some pizza before you decide if you want to come with me or stay and eat."

@gracehustle

"They're the person that's delivering the pizza." She walked back to the door as the person walked up, already with money in her hand, "Go sit back on the couch Oscar, I'll be right there." Honor smiled as she opened the door and paid, not waiting to see if Oscar actually listened.

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

Oscar slowly backed over to the couch, giving the delivery person a hard stare as he did so. He wasn't sure why he felt suspicious of the person–well, it was probably because of his conflict with the doctors earlier–but he made sure to keep a very close eye on them as Honor paid them for the food, ready to jump up if things got scary and do….something. He'd figure out what he'd do if the need actually arose.

@gracehustle

Only a few words were exchanged along with small smiles as she handed over the money and took the pizza, closing the door once the delivery person left and bringing the boxes to her table. "They smell so good," She commented as she set them down and looked over at Oscar, clearly happy, "Ready to try pizza for the first time?"

@gracehustle

She laughed and nodded, smiling once again as she grabbed two plates and two cups from her cupboard, "Yes, it's supposed to be hot, though don't open those just yet, let me get a plate and cup for you first. Then you can try the pizza and decide if you want to go get some clothes with me or if you want to stay and eat."
