"Okay, I think we all need to calm down." Bee says loudly. "Everyone take a seat…"
"Who died and made you-"
"SIT THE FUCK DOWN JACKSON OR SO HELP ME GOD!" Bee screeches.
The students all slam down and Bee takes a deep breath, shakily smiling.
"Great. Now everyone breathe in for four seconds, hold it for seven seconds, and then breathe out for eight seconds." She instructs. "And as you're doing that close your eyes and see if you can feel the wind. How's the roof beneath you? Is it solid? Yes, it is. We're all okay for now, keep breathing."
"We need a plan. Edward, do we have anything on our side?" He asked, silently praying that there was some good news.
"Okay, honestly?" Edward replied, "I'm just as lost as you guys, but we are safe for now. We should definitely wait this out a bit longer before we try to leave."
(I love how Edward is like a slightly older college student XD)
(I almost had him start the sentence with, "Ima be real with you, chief." So yes, more or less. Definitely quotes stuff his kids say but does it correctly.)
(This is a high school. I wondered why you did that for the longest time.)
Mr. Poe tried to open the door of the janitor's closet, but something was blocking it. He pushed multiple times, but there was way too much weight for him to move. He thought to call Edward but stopped himself. I rely on him way too much. I can get out of this myself, he thought. He pondered his options until his eyes landed on a broom.
(Every other student is a teenager. So either these are all some gifted lil' shits with only one normal college student, or this guy wandered into the wrong classes and hasn't said anything, which cracks me up.)
(I mean you could also always go student teacher, but idk)
Maria sighed with boredom as some of the kids broke off into their own social groups, with the science kids on one side of the roof and the english kids on the other.
(What's a student teacher?)
(oof. no one talks about the maths kids.)
(A college student about to get their teaching certification who sits in on classes and helps assist the regular teacher. It's like teacher with training wheels, for lack of a better explanation.)
(I don't think there were any maths kids mentioned. The history class was the only other one and they're all dead.)
(Yeah, except for Lynde who ran off to a chem class. Dude, Edward would've been pissed.)
(You killed my daughter? Time to die, Poe.)
(Lmao I though this was a college)
(Nope, it's based off of my high school because they put in a zombie fence.)
(I am thinking of writing a zombie apocalypse thing that takes place at a college personally. Not gonna publish. Just for fun, ya know? Maybe I should open up a universe for it on here so I'll actually get to work. That's why I wanted to start that one zombie RP that never even started, which is partially my fault, but don't worry about it.)
(O.o)
Rowan looked at his teacher in utter betrayal. "You're supposed to he the responsible one!" He groaned.
(Yeah, apparently it was a problem in the olden days, so they're making no mistakes.)
(I forgot, I joined it but never posted a template :€])
"Hey, my whole-ass class survived! That's pretty responsible, if I don't say so myself," Edward replied, "Besides, it's not like we got a manual on what to do if there's what- zombies?!"
(To my RP, not this one lol. And I never posted my character either. No one did lmao)
"Actually, there have been a lot of Zombie Survival Manuals written over time." Horace corrects him. "They just most likely wouldn't be useful for our current situation."
Mr. Poe began ramming the broom into the door of the closet. Eventually, he broke a small hole in the door. He looked through the hole to find the mauled body of the maths teacher and a couple of students in front of it. He staggered backward and held down a scream. He held his head in his hands in a feeble attempt to keep his mind from falling apart.
"Well, the Board didn't provide us any special manual for teachers, so uh… outside reading is above my paygrade," Edward sighed, "But in all seriousness, you can't say you believed this was an actual thing that could happen?"
