"You can't talk Natalia. You had a mental breakdown when Dahlia gave you a kiss on the cheek." Angela made the point by poking her friends cheek. Natalia blushed and cleared her throat, changing the subject.

"Anyways, who is it?"

"You know that really punk band from across the hall?"

Natalia raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

"The guitarist…"

"For fucks sake Angela!"

"What's wrong with her?" Esmeray asked, crossing her arms.

Danny sighed. "Look, ya know I love ya like a little sister. But she's so… preppy. Ya know it never worked out before with you and preppy girls. I just don't want you gettin' hurt again."

"Well, maybe she's different!"

"That's what you say every- ya know, for someone who's scared of getting hurt and left behind again, you really fall in love easily?

Another guy walked in. "Did she really do that again?"

"You can't stop falling for punks! As much as Jay loves fan fiction tropes, this is not one. Punks and Pastels don't fall and love and live happily ever after." Natalia ran her fingers through the other girl's hair.

"Yes, our disaster of a guitarist fell in love again."

Alex, the drummer, sat down on Daddy's lap. "Oh?"

"Singer across the hall."

"Oh honey-"

Esmeray rolled her eyes. "Can you all stop?"

Angela stood up, boldly putting her hands on her hips. "I'm going to ask her on a date!"

All of the other bandmembers sighed and Natalia shook her head. "Don't do it Angela."

"Imma do it!"

"Don't do it!"

Esmeray glared up at them both. "I swear, I will flirt my way into a relationship!"

"For the last time, we don't want you getting hurt again!"

"You can't stop me!"
And, Angela was out of the room.
"She's gonna get hurt again." Natalia muttered, rubbing her temples.

Esmeray stood up, walking out, head held high. "Fight me."

"Am I the only one worried?"

Angela closed the door with a huff. She was a useless romantic anyways, nothing her friends could say would stop her.

Esmeray stalked down the hall, anxiety crawling into her head.

Angela was lost in her thoughts, but was snapped out of it when she ran into a certain, very pretty, guatairst.

"Oh!" Esmeray said, stepping back a bit. "Oh, hello again." She said, cheeks quickly turning pink. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

"I- Uh, sorry!" Angela squeaked out, her face bright red. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAFUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASHITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

"I was- Uh, actually… Uh, looking for you-" Angela responded, hiding her hands in her sweater paws.

Esmeray felt her face heat up. "O-oh?" She asked, looking up.

"I was wondering if- Uh, I was wondering if you wanted to go out for lunch?"

"I-I-um… yeah, sure, sounds great!" She said, smiling through the heavy blush on her face.

"G-Great!" Angela gave an awkward thumbs up. "I uh- Here's my phone number." She muttered, pushing a astel yellow sticky note in the other's hand and running.

Esmeray looked down at the sticky note, before breaking into a grin and rushing back to her band mates.

Angela rushed into her band's room, face flushed. "Ya girl's going on a fucking date!"

Esmeray ran into the room in a burst of flowy black fabric and long hair. "NONE OF YOU WILL FUCKING BELIEVE THIS-"

The bandmates looked at each other in shock and Natalia just let out a loud laugh and gave Angela a huf. "Wow, didn't think you'd do it."

Danny looked over her shoulder. "You got her number?"

Esmeray grinned. "Better! I got a date! She asked me out!"

Danny and Alex glanced at each other, before looking back at her. "Um… cool?"

"Hey, have more faith me!"

"Hun, you dated me for a year."
