Evan scoffed " your not from here are you?" She asked.

Jack stopped, turned his head slightly.

"No." He continues walking, "Now if you excuse me, I have to go."

At that moment, the arrow in his hand withers away.

Evan used her super speed to get in front of him " you know the king the queen from this kingdom thier daughters the princess" she said.

Jack looked up at her, then froze.

"By the stars!" He spoke low, "I did not know you wer- what are you in the woods?"

¨ I´m a person of this kingdom I´m allowed to wander the woods I don´t have a curfew¨ she said the wind blowing once again knocking her hood down releasing her hair.

Jack's expression changed to a more positive tone

"Well then! Don't mind me!"

Jack bows. Then quickly draws his bow and shoots at what seems random. He looks over, smiles and starts running in the direction of his shot.

"I'll just grab my meal and i'll be on my way!"

His charming smile shows as he speeds further into the woods. He stops in front of a small animal, and his face goes dark. Unable to finish the job, he bandages up the injured animal and let's it run away.

Evan shifted into a wolf and ran after him her fur was blonde with a white undercoat and she turned up behind him

"You still follow?" Jack says softly.

He turns around, and smiles. Neat trick.

She growled quietly

"fine."
Sits next to her.
"Why, I never got your name."

Evan shifted back to human still in her cape ¨Princess Evan Forks¨ she said sitting next to him.

He removed his hood, "My name is Jack."

He sits and waits. Hears the birds chirp. "Why have you come here, princess? I imagine the kingdom would be wondering by now."

" I'm not needed until tommorow evening at the gala" she said the entire kingdom was invited to the kingdom

He nodded. "I best be headed now"
He gets up and walks away

*Next day

Evan got up from her bed she was wearing a silky nightgown as she stretched she got out of bed her feet hitting the the cool hardwood she got dressed and went to her balcony leaning over the rail.

Jack emerged from his bed as he was attempting to gain vision. He got dressed in his usual huntsman clothes and covered in a cloak. He heads out back into the woods, heading for the kingdom.

She hummed a tuned a small black bird with red eyes landing on the rail beside her hand.

His eyes glow as his speed increases. Racing throughout the forest, darkness wraps around him. When he reaches the edge of the castle and stops, a maiden sees the darkness and screams. He hid as she was running into the kingdom, shouting "Demon!"

The king and queen we're discussing the demon when Evan rushed downstairs and tried to leave " there's a monster don't go Evan" her parents said.
" He's not a monster he's a good guy" she said and rushed out to find him " jack " she said quietly.

Jack appeared and a removed his hood. "Sometimes I forget that I'm not always able to use my other half."

" this is unbelievable I mean for crying out loud I'm a hybrid and they except me when will they accept you" she asked

"What?" his expression widened, "I mean, I didn't know that."

" oh uh" she said now feeling nervous and scared " I should go" she said.

He grabs her hand and stops her, "If it was something I said-" he looks down, removing his hand.
"I-I'm sorry," his expression was as fearful as hers. "I-I normally wouldn't lay so much as a finger on a woman! especially the princess!" he stops. he runs back into the woods.

Evan sighed using her speed to get in infRont of him

"Why have you returned?" he asks, "I sensed your fear."

He removes his hood again, this time revealing more of himself. His eyes were crimson red. A scar that travelled across his cheek ad down his neck. his hair short but curly. he seemed more human than demon

"Why pursue?"

" because I can see how bad people truly are and when I look at you I don't see bad or good I see misunderstood" she said.

Jack looked in her eyes, deeply. He wondered if she should be trusted. He leans in close, "You should leave. You have something to do toady?"

"Later tonight…but I can tell when I'm not wanted" she said turning on her heel to leave.
