"What? I think you're just blind" she laughed, pulling up to the park. Her phone buzzed, but she ignored it, knowing it was Hugo

"Yeah- by your beauty." He smirked leaning over kissing her cheek. "I mean it, you really are."

"Says the cute coffee shop boy" she rolls her eyes, opening the door and Taking Nico out with a smile.

He slid out of his own seat. "I really don't know what you see in me." He laughed walking closer to her.

"Everything. I see what others don't see other than your attractive looks. Maybe you're so handsome, that you're intimidating" she nodded. That must be it. How else does he not have a girlfriend by now?
Wait…he does! And it was her!

He smiled at her and nuzzled his nose against her cheek. "Maybe that's what it is- and you don't get intimidated easily." He laughed holding her by the waist.

"Ha! Intimidated? Me? Maybe intimidating" she says in her usual cocky voice
"But never intimidated. I had a chance. I saw the hot guy serving me coffee, and wrote my number down and boom. Look at me now. His girlfriend" she smiled

He laughed laying his head on hers.
"And you're an amazingly beautiful one, that's for sure." He cooed giving her hand a squeeze.

"Hm" she thought for a little as with walked through the Park "well, let's not say that" she laughed a bit "this is day one of being your girlfriend" she kissed his cheek

"Oh come on- you think I won't think you're pretty after a week?" He asked half skipping.

"Well I mean" she shrugged "let's see if you think I'm everything you think I am." She hummed. At first everyone always thought she was all that just because of what she let everyone see. But once they got to know her, they left.

He gave her a nervous glance. "A-alright…" He said not dropping her hand.

"I mean, I'm not toxic or anything. At least I don't think. But…once people get to know me they tend to shy away. And yeah, you know me pretty well but you don't at the same time. Does that make sense?" She says giving his hand a tight squeeze

He looked at her totally lost. "I'm sorry could you speak a language I understand? That isn't Rabbit Trails?" He asked with a laugh.

She buried her face in her hands and sighed "I don't know how to explain it. I'm sorry" she looked at the ground

He smiled at her and nuzzled his nose into her cheek. "It's fine Izz. I'm just super slow." He chuckled.

She smiled "it's fine Brett. You're not slow, im just confusing"

He laughed. "I think it may be a bit of both."

She chuckled "okay" she shook her head. Soon her phone rang, sighing, she slipped her phone of her pocket and answered it.
"Hey what's up? Oh? I'll be there around…. Lemme see…12:00 is that alright?" She says into the phone

Being nosey, he leaned his head on her's to listen. "What are they saying?" He mouthed to her.

She laughed a little, holding her finger to his lips “Alright. Well I gotta go. See ya then”
She hung up and turned to him, removing her finger from his soft lips “that was Hugo. He’s playing st the parade with me”

He nodded. "Oh ok- the one that you kissed me about yesterday."
He smirked biting his lower lip.

"Wait a second. What's that supposed to mean?" She asks raising her brow and putting his hand in her hip, cocking it to the side a bit

"Remember I was pestering you about it? And then you kissed me." He laughed running a hand through his hair.
"I don't regret it at all though."

She rolled her eyes playfully with a chuckle "well if that's the case, then yes. That's him. But that's not why I kissed you. At all" she poked his nose

(Oh gosh- hey babes!)

"Oh yeah? Then why'd you kiss me huh?" He smiled at her with a sly one.

"well…. You looked really good at the moment, and that little smirk you always do, along with your stupid teasing. It always gets me so flustered." she looked away shyly, her face a bit red. "and anyway that was the only way I could think of at the moment to make you stop. " she says trying her best to regain her confidence. It totally wasn't that she just couldn't stop thinking about kissing him at the moment….

"You sure that's it?" He joked laying his head on hers. "You don't have to feel flustered." He smiled softly.

(it's fine. I'm sorry for not responding as much. Christmas time is always pretty busy)

She looks away, tucking a braid being her heavily pierced ear, golden diamonds trailing up both of her ears with a small silver chain handing down.
"of course" she mumbles stubbornly. Though it was obvious she had no idea what to do or say
