"Yes, probably." Hatta replied, and began to walk again.
"Yes, probably." Hatta replied, and began to walk again.
Aliana followed after. She bit her lip as she debated asking if they could hold hands before deciding it was stupid. She ended up humming to some silly tune she thought up.
Hatta went quiet to listen to her. He adjusted his hat, clearing his throat softly.
Aliana continued humming getting lost in her little tune before she realized what she was doing and stopped. She hadn't meant for it to be loud enough that Hatta could hear.
Hatta smiled a little. "What were you humming?" He asked softly.
"Just some silly tune I made up," Aliana responded as she kept walking.
"Mm. It sounded nice." Hatta replied as they walked, looking over at her for a moment.
Aliana's cheeks turned pink, "Do, do you want me to continue?"
"Sure, if you want to." Hatta replied with a smile.
Aliana grinned as she went back to humming. She hummed a little louder than before knowing Hatta was okay with it.
Hatta smiled a little as he listened to her. He was quiet.
Aliana kept humming and started to dance around the maze. Not much, she was still going forward, but enough that she knew she was.
Hatta smiled a little as he watched her, eyes flicking around before returning to her.
Aliana looked at Hatta and stopped her humming for a moment to giggle before going again. She was having a lot of fun.
Hatta smiled a little as he watched her. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. What he hadn't told her was how much worse the madness got when he came into the maze. How much harder it became to fight off the madness that crouched inside of him.
Aliana kept humming until she reached one of the crossroads. She looked to Hatta and turned to the right hoping he would follow after her.
Hatta followed her after a moment, quiet as he thought about the maze and how it worked.
Aliana finished her song and looked to Hatta in thought. She looked to him, "What's up?"
"Nothing important." Hatta replied, taking a deep breath.
"You sure?" Aliana checked with him, "Whatever you say."
Hatta nodded. "Yeah, don't worry about me." He replied.
Aliana bit her lip before saying with a slight tease, "You know that makes me worry more."
Hatta chuckled. "Mm. Sorry." He replied.
"You're fine," Aliana laughed a little. She walked up to another cross path, "Right or left?"
Hatta smiled a little. "Left." He replied, and went down the left hand side.
Aliana grinned and followed after him, "That's different."
Hatta chuckled. "Mm. Like me." He replied with a smile.
Aliana let out a laugh, "Like you."
Hatta grinned at her, and winked. "Mhm."
Aliana felt her cheeks turn pink again. She was quiet and asked softly, "Are, are you flirting with me?"
