Jay frowned a little. "That's a little bit of a ways away." he replied. "How about the front gates? Where we first came in." he crossed his arms, looking at her.

@gracehustle

Delia bit back a snappy response and instead nodded, jumping as once again she heard the echo of something being blown up, this time much much closer. It made her want to just cover her ears and hide, but she refused to, instead rolling her shoulder and preparing to hand her pack to Jay.

@gracehustle

"Now, get going," She said, slinging her gun over her shoulder and motioning him to get out of the room, "We need to leave." Her eyes flicked around the room to see if they forgot anything, knowing the next explosion could go off at any time.

@gracehustle

She nodded and followed them out, though kept her eyes more on looking out for danger than keeping up with him. Her first instinct was to keep them safe, and so that's what she was trying to do as she looked around the dark hallway. Whatever kept blowing up must have hit wherever the power to the building was.

@gracehustle

Delia moved at her own pace, though tried to move fast as she saw the flash of another explosion down a branching hallway. She jumped and glanced at Jay's retreating form, really trying to stop herself from going down the explosion hallway. It wasn't that she wanted to die or be a hero or anything, it was just that she wanted to see what was causing the explosions, and if them leaving the room was safe at all.

@gracehustle

"I gotta see," She mumbled, hurrying down the side hallway and trying to contain how scared she was as she started having to pick her way through the rubble. There was a clear hole in the building and she looked up, swallowing nervously at the sights of drones in the sky armed with explosives. "Nope, nope, nope, we gotta leave," She whispered fiercely, turning around as fast as she could and hurrying back towards where she thought the exit of the building was.

@gracehustle

Delia was moving as fast as she could, though the further she got from their room, she ran into the same problem as he did, people everywhere, and now not caring that she was on crutches. There seemed to be a path most of them were following though, a path she assumed was to the exit.

@gracehustle

Delia's journey wasn't quite as easy, with people not watching as they jostled her in an attempt to get out of the building as fast as they could. The explosions continued to go though, shaking the building around them and causing rubble to fall into peoples path.

@gracehustle

She could see military members helping direct people outside, and both her's and Caspian's eyes widened as they made eye contact. Delia didn't stop though and quickly broke eye contact, hurrying through the open doors and scanning the sky for any drones. There were tons, all swarming over the base, dropping their bombs one at a time and flying away once they were empty.

@gracehustle

Her eyes scanned the sky once again before she hurried across the yard of vehicles and people, dodging people who were trying to shoot down the drones. She did glance back at the base though and found Caspian in the crowd, watching him hurry people to safety. Soon her eyes were back on the gate though and she was looking around for Jay.

@gracehustle

Delia was clearly relieved when she saw him and rushed to where he was, trying and failing to say anything about what was going on, her mouth did open like she was going to say something though, but no noise came out. Now it was a question of staying to see what would happen or bolting and abandoning the base.

@gracehustle

"Away from here," She replied, glancing at the base again and trying to forget how much it reminded her of when they had taken her brother. Delia finally started moving though, leading the way away from the base to the sound of the explosions hitting over and over.

@gracehustle

Delia nodded, petting the top of Leo's head before leaving the puppy to start looking for the road once again. Once they got there maybe it would be easier to ignore the destruction behind them.

@gracehustle

"Where should we go then?" She asked, sure she didn't want to go anywhere near the base and now the road was basically off limits for the moment.
