(Here I’ll help you out)

The officer noticed that the others have finished reading. He then pulled his phone back and stated…
“If he’s true to his words, he’s gonna have quite a hard time. At the Historical Gallery that day, Special Force Zero are on patrol” he claimed.

At the mention of SPZ, Peonie's eyes widened a great deal. "The Special Force Zero? As in the ones who have never once let a criminal succeed in their plans while they've been on patrol?" If that was true, then Crescent really would have quite the challenge ahead of him. "Why are they being stationed there that day?"

@CasiCasino group

“Didn’t you hear? Team 2 said they found evidence that a group of terrorist will be attacking the place on that day. To be honest, ‘Crescent’ probably knows that but that just begs the question… why did he choose that day of all days? The exhibition is a week long after all”
The officer explained, trying to think of a reason in his mind as well.

The fact that ‘Crescent’ decided to steal to the jewel on the same day some lowlife terrorist group was going to attack must mean something. Perhaps there was some purpose to it.

@The-Magician group

A slight frown knitted Peonie's eyebrows together, but it was gone again not a moment later. If Crescent had planned his heist to be that day on purpose, there was one reason she could think of. Was it worth mentioning to the team leader? He would probably dismiss it as clueless speculations. "I think we should be getting back down now." she murmured, making her way over to the ladder that lead down to the top floor. It was getting cold up there, and her blazer wasn't exactly thermal. Besides, she had a jewel to return.

When the three officers came down from the rooftop; the team leader growled at them.
“Where the hell were you three?!” He asked with a menacing voice.
“I’ve told you time and time again to stay within my orders!” He shouted as he crossed his arms.
“And look here—“ he gestured to the empty jewel case “—it’s gone for good now, no one’s gonna find it now”

@The-Magician group

"That's where you're wrong." Peonie's tone was firm, she wouldn't be taking crap from the team leader today.
She slipped her hand into her pocket and carefully pulled out the Ruby Cherry. "I found this on the roof, Crescent must have dropped it in an attempt to leave quickly." She would never tell the team leader the truth of what happened, that could put her entire career in jeopardy.

The team leader’s eyes widened as he inspected the jewel.
“This is the real one…” he was a bit shocked by it but he had called the exhibition employees to look at it again and they reconfirmed that it indeed the real one.
“Despite being experienced he still makes mistakes huh?” The young male officer mentioned with a small laugh.

[Sapphire Arc]

“Welcome one, welcome all!” The host of the exhibition had started as the police cars arrived in front of the halls.

The building they were told to look after was a hybrid building; meaning half of the building is on land while the other half is underwater. The Fist of the Blue Sapphire, an extremely valuable piece of jewelry, is located at the lowest floor of the facility, guarded by some officers and along the way down are traps set up for those who are brave enough to try to retrieve it.

As expected from the note made by the young unnamed officer, the SPZ arrived to the scene soon after; five of them that is.

Colin was there, as usual. He raised an eyebrow at the SPZ, but he said nothing. I can't be taken off this case, I need the income that'll come from this. Was his background thoughts. His foreground thoughts, the investigation, pushed those aways.

@CasiCasino group

From what it looked like, it was hard for both the terrorists and ‘Crescent’ to get into the building. The building, which was shaped similar to a tower going up and down, consisted of twenty four floors; twelve above ground, twelve underwater which was where the building was built to be.

There was a floor, specifically floor B11, that needed special care for. The floor’s main purpose was to showcase the beauty of the waters and its inhabitants, meaning that the whole floor, except for the elevator, was made of glass and clear mirrors. Floor B12 was where the jewel, the Fist of the Blue Sapphire, was being showcased.

Peonie was surveying the area, keeping her eyes peeled for anything that didn't look right. Her notebook and pen were tucked safely into one pocket, her badge inside the other one. When the SPZ arrived, her posture stiffened. She had always seen them to be strict, hardcore about the rules, if they knew about Peonie's tendency to take matters into her own hands, they probably wouldn't like her. She was still receiving suspicious glances from when she 'found' the Ruby Cherry—no one trusted her, but at least they tried to hide it. This time she wouldn't do anything to draw more suspicion to herself!

(11:45)

“Hello~ So we do meet again…” a vaguely familiar voice whispered to Peonie from behind her. But if she was to turn around, the person would be gone in the flood of people. It’s hard to spot someone suspicious, with so many people around, it looked as if everyone was suspicious in one way or another.

@The-Magician group

Peonie's eyes darted around when she heard the voice, surely she was imagining it?
She didn't dare turn around for fear he would be stood there. Now wasn't the time to be getting distracted.
"What do you want?" she asked calmly, quietly, just in case someone was there.

@CasiCasino group

To Peonie’s surprise, someone answered… Crescent.
“I’m not stealing anything… I’m on your side today… I’m aware of the whole terrorist thing so if they think they can beat me to the jewel, I’m more than happy to see them try” Crescent answered, dropping a note in front of Peonie.

@The-Magician group

"Ever the competitor." Peonie looked around the crowd, keeping everything natural.
She couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, yet. Soon enough they would start to stick out like sore thumbs.
Quickly, smoothly, Peonie dropped to pick up the note and opened it up. Huh??

@CasiCasino group

What was inside the note might be something quite unexpected; the interior of the building with some markings.
“I’ve found bombs around the place, probably set by those terrorists… the Special Force Zero people might know how to disable them but… there are five in total and I’m sure there’re more coming when those people start to attack. Oh yeah, they’re all time bombs by the way, set to exactly 12:10… and it’s 11:50” Crescent stated before he patted Peonie’s shoulder.
“Good luck on your side, I need to go take care of mine” he said as he started to run towards the elevator before disappearing into the crowd.

@The-Magician group

Peonie's face fell as she stared at the interior layout. Why did she train to be an officer again? It was always when she was trying to be good at her job, that something, such as the note, threatened to knock her back down. Twenty minutes, five bombs. Right, best get to it then. She crumpled the note into her pocket and quickly made her way over to the leader of the SPZ. Calling them intimidating would be an understatement, but there was a hesitant look in Peonie's eyes before she cleared her throat. "Excuse me, but I think you ought to see this." she took the crumpled note from her pocket and held it out.

@CasiCasino group

The leader of the SPZ straightened the paper a bit before he had realized what was written on it. He scanned through the papers a little, sighed then nodded, turning to his men.
“1, F2, 2, F7, 3, B8, 4, B9, I will go to B11 myself…” the leader of the SPZ stated his orders before he turned back to Peonie.
“I would guess Crescent was the one who wrote this… but I’ve got no reason to ask how and where did you get this… thanks anyways…” the cruel look of the leader looked a bit calmer than usual before he walked towards the building along with the other officers.

Now, there was another officer who had just arrived at the scene, the same officer who was with the detective at the Ruby Cherry exhibition. Today, he looked a bit tired and as he got out of the car, gave a yawn.
