Eclipse relaxed further at that, letting himself melt on top of the other.

He started to stroke his back as he sang to Eclipse.

Eclipse let himself relax completely, listening to the other's voice, and breathing his scent.

"Feel any better?" he said when the song ended.

Eclipse had almost dozed off again in the other's grasp, seemingly like a semblance of his old self, though it was delicate and fraglie.

Saayan just smiled. "I love you my puppy." he frowned. Seeing him like this made him want to get revenge on the hunters. He wanted to kill them all. That would scare Eclipse even more though.

Eclipse slept lightly in the other's arms. He'd always been a light sleeper, despite everything, though part of that was because of his experiences as a kid.

He closed his eyes and decided he needs to rest too. He held Eclipse in his arms which made him happy.

Eclipse felt safe in his arms, even after what happened. He just hoped Saayan would stay, even after everything.

Saayan would always stay with him no matter what happened to his puppy. Nothing could make him hate Eclipse.

Eclipse didn't know that. Well he did, but he wasn't confident on that. He always doubted the fact that the other loved him. There had always been times where he'd doubted it. And now was no exception.

He needed to gain trust from Eclipse. How could he do that if Eclipse wouldn't let him?

Time. Eclipse needed time, that and more time to regain control of his wolf instincts, which had gone and made it hard for him to think of anything but his own physical safety, which messed him up emotionally, because his wolf half refused to trust anyone, while his human side only wanted Saayan's comfort.

Saayan would give him just that. If time is all he needs then Saayan shall grant that wish. He will wait forever if he has to, but he will never let go of Eclipse. Not again and not ever.

Eclipse knew that deep down, but half of him reused to believe it, and the other side had a hard time accepting it.

Why do his different sides effect how he feels. He is his own person. Even though he has two sides, why does that control him?

Eclipse is his own person,but he's essentially a meld of two entirely different creatures. Most halfbloods have no trouble managing who they are, but Eclipse always has because before he escaped his father, he would suppress his wolf half. This means that the two side of his nature are out of sync. His human instincts; aren't in sync with his wolf's instincts and intuition. Other half wolves will lean towards one side or the other, acting more as a wolf, or a human would, but they still have the influence of their other side. Eclipse is inbalanced in that sense, meaning that in certain situations, when he leans towards on side's abilities like most halfwolves, he falls completely into that mindset, and it's very hard to regain cohesion between both side.

Does that mean that mostly his wolf side is showing to try and balance it out? Why doe't he tel Saayan about this?

No, his wolf side took over and he ent into survival mode when the Hunter's took him. And his wolf side is almost feral in nature, distrusting, and estranged. Eclipse is trying to balance it with his huma side, but he's having problems.

Why won't he spill this to Saayan. He could try to help. He always wants to.

He did. He told Saayan his wolf side had control.

Then Saayan needs to do a better job of helping. If he brings back memories will that help?

Depends on the memories, if it's bad ones, he'll probably relapse, good ones…. they might help?

Saayan had woken up having the weirdest dream ever.

"Hey Eclipse, do you feel like getting up today?" he said softly.

Eclipse whined softly,not wanting to wake up, as he was still mostly asleep.

"Please?' he said softly in his ear while he touched his shoulder lightly.

Eclipse tensed at the touch, whining softly.

"It's just me. Remember we did this yesterday," he bit his lips. "In and out."
