He nodded. "I actually have done two of those. When I was thirteen, my rebel age, I dyed my hair fuchsia thinking it was red. So that lasted for a long time, and my dad wasn't even mad, he was just too busy dying laughing from my mistake. I pierced my nose and eyebrow at 17, but for job interview I decided not to have percings anymore, so those were gone for awhile." He nodded. "I want to get a tattoo on my arm, but not until I turn thirty."
"Really? Hm, you would look good with an eyebrow pricing. Right there" she poked where an eyebrow piercing would be.
She actually had a few tattoos of her own
He rolled his eyes a bit. "Well I actually had it on this brow." He pointed to the opposite side. "And a nose piercing here." He pointed to his septum. "That hurt like ridiculous." He noted making up his own term.
"Oh i bet. I have a nose piercing right here" she pointed to a small diamond stud on the side of her nose. "Though you've probably already noticed. A belly button piercing, a few tattoos, but never a septum or an eyebrow piercing. I can't really dye my hair without bleaching it due to how disgustingly dark brown it is" she rolled her eyes. She always hated how dark her hair was. It was brown, but so close to black. But not quite. And that's why it annoyed her.
"Oh- but I like it natural." He said fiddling with a strand from the towel. "I think it's pretty."
"Really?" She looked up at him as her head was still in his lap. She smiled a little as she looked at her hair thinking about what he said.
She looked at his dampened hair, touching it slightly. "I like yours more." She says rather quietly
He laughed. "Yes- my hair, the essence of all grace." He said running his fingers through it.
She laughed a bit but said nothing. She was now too busy messing with his hair
He decided sense the conversation had dropped to just sit in the quiet and enjoy it. Knowing Izzy this wasn't gonna last too long. So enjoy it while you can.
She yawned after a while and sat up. "Hey, let's do something. Literally anything" she says bored out of her mind. Though she enjoyed simply playing with his hair in silence, just admiring him.
He smiled. "Well you just broke a record." He laughed. "5 minutes of silence." He said stretching. "Let me go get a shirt then we can go do something."
"How sad" she says dramatically.
"But i guess I'll let you. Hurry up though. Im bored. My ADHDs kicking in" she only half joked
He quickly grabbed his shirt and scurried back into the room. "OK! What are we to do my fare maiden?"
"I have no idea. I would say out on a run, but your ribs aren't fully recovered yet. OH! do you like carnivals! You know, roller coasters, Ferris wheels, cotton candy. There's one that just opened not to long ago in the town next to us. Wanna go? Well probably like….tomorrow or something. If we left now we would get there…..pretty late id say." She stood up and poked his forehead. "But i have no idea what to do now…that thought just came to mind. I was meaning to ask you earlier."
He laughed. "Well we can do that, and I can do paper work on the way to get a new set of keys, and to work out the medical bills." He nodded crossing his arms. "If you don't mind driving of course."
"Well of course" she says rolling her eyes. "Okay but we can work that out later. What should we do know?" She asks with a sigh
"How about we go to town square and do some window Christmas shopping?" He asked with a smile.
“Hm, okay!” She says urning around with a little bounce in her step.
She ran to her room and grabbed her huge, a bit dramatic black coat, buttons going all down the side. Aside from it being so dramatic, it actually looked really good on her.
And she loved being dramatic anyway.
SHe grabbed her wallet and came out with an extra coat for Adrian, since his apartment was locked. “Here ya go. It’s a guys coat anyway, so it’ll look good” she smiled
He smiled back and took it greatfully. "Wanna bring Nico too?" He asked slipping it on.
Her dark eyes widened and she looked back at Nico who was still sitting underneath the glass coffee table. “Nico? Wanna go on a walk?” She says getting the leash and a, yes, black spiked collar. Nico shot up and slid out from under the table. His pointed black ears shot up and if he had more than a stub as a tail, it would be wagging all over the place. She skipped the collar on and hooked the least to the collar. “Let’s go then!” She turned to Brett wit a wide smile.
He laughed and followed her. "Let's." He said reaching the front door.
She headed out the door with Nico and a big smile wide on her face.
Once they got out to her truck Nico got in the back seat and she got in the drivers, leaving shotgun open for him. “Get on in! Sorry it’s a bit cold. I’m gonna turn on the heat”
He laughed sliding in the front seat. "It's all good." He smiled brightly at her.
"How cute" she mumbled to herself as she turned on the car, along with the heater.
He quickly went to the radio and flipped through stations. "Can I pick? Or does driver pick in your car too?"
"Nah, go right ahead. As long as it's not that insane rock n roll screamo music. I hate that." She waved it off as she backed out of the parking space
He laughed and found a popular music radio station. "How's this?" He asked turning to her.
"Sure" she says tapping her finger on the steering wheel to the best of the song.
Brett hummed to the tune, laying his head back against the head rest. "So where are we going first?"
"Hmmm" she bit her lip as she thought about it. "Um…i have no idea. But what i do know….clothes" she smirked as the truck sped up a bit
