He groaned softly and gently shifted Nathaniel off his lap. He pulled on a nearby sweatshirt and went to the front door to get the food.
Giving the delivery person the money, a tip and a tired thank you, V set the food down in the kitchen before going back to the bedroom to change. “Are you coming with? You don’t have to, I’m not staying long.” He said, pulling off the sweatshirt and shirt underneath and replacing it with a clean one
"Where are you going?" Nathaniel asked, standing up and starting to pull on some of V's clothes as well.
“To bring the food to Urielle.” He said, glancing over and smiling as his angel practically disappeared in the larger sized clothing
"I thought he was coming over here, though?" Nathaniel put on his own shoes, knowing V's would be far too large on him. Hoodies were fine when they were large, but the shoes would fall off.
V shook his head “no, I want to drop off the food in case he’s not there.” He pulled on some shoes and found the key she the apartment “ready?”
"Yeah… I wanna see him, though…" Nathaniel said quietly, following V out.
V gave him a half smile “yeah, I do to.” He held the food in one hand while he wrapped his free arm around Nathaniel’s shoulders
Nathaniel sighed softly. "We're walking, right?" He asked.
“Yep, it’s not far.” He pressed a kiss to his head and smiled
"Mmkay…" Nathaniel held onto V's hand as they walked, seeming content to stay quiet for the moment.
They walked a few more minutes before finding the hotel and asking the front lady where Urielle’s room was, saying that they were friends.
Nathaniel stood quietly beside V and looked around the hotel. He hadn't been in here before, so it was interesting to him.
V led them to Urielle’s room, walking slowly so Nathaniel could look around at the place.
Once they got there, Nathaniel knocked on the door. He was still holding onto V's hand at this point.
V gazed down at Nathaniel and pressed a kiss to their linked hands before glancing up and beaming happily as Urielle opened the door, having exchanged his normal white button down shirt and crisp pants for a simple grey t-shirt and joggers. "I wasn't expecting you to come over so late, why are you two even up at this hour?" he ushered them in and hugged each of them as tightly as he could in regards to their wounds.
"thought you might want some food since you're still relatively new to the usage of money." V teased, setting down the food in the small kitchen that was provided with the room
Nathaniel returned the hug when it was given to him. He always loved seeing Urielle; the man was more of a father to him than his own father ever was. "Never seen you in informal clothing before." Nathaniel remarked, looking over Urielle with a slight smirk. "It's a nice look on you."
He smiled softly "well, I was just turning in for the night until you two showed up." He gestured to the small couch and sat on the bed. "thank you for the food by the way." he smiled softly "so besides the food, why did you come over?"
Nathaniel shrugged. "We felt like visiting you. It's been a while, after all, and how could I forget about my favorite father figure?"
“Ah I see. Well I’m glad you both came, disputes the hour.” V sat beside Nathaniel and rested his head on top of his. “We have to look after you Urielle. Like you did for us.
Nathaniel nodded in agreement, leaning into V and trilling happily. He sounded a little tired, but he was okay. "How've you been?"
He kissed the top of his head when he made the cute little sound.
"I've been alright, a bit tired but I've been learn to struggle through, what about you two? how have you to been with the injuries?"
"Mm… we're surviving." Nathaniel shrugged. "Still a bit sore, but mostly healed. Still got a nasty nick in my wing, though." He extended his wing to show Urielle the scar.
urielle walked over and checked Nathaniel's wound, nodding slightly. "You don't have to take the Holy water anymore. The rest of the wound will heal naturally now. V I still want you drinking it though, I'm not to sure how helpful it will be but it should do at least a bit more healing.
Nathaniel nodded. "Sounds good. I'll make sure he keeps drinking it." He told Urielle.
Urielle smiled softly "you two have always been pretty good at taking care of each other," he mused
"With your help of course," V chimed in with a smile of his own
"Yep. We outcasts gotta stick together, you know?" Nathaniel smiled softly and leaned into V.
Ureille's smile faltered slightly and he looked away from the two "that should have never happened. I'm sorry i didn't have the strength to keep you from being exiled."
"Hey, Urielle, it's not your fault. They were going to kick us out no matter what you did. We didn't want you getting exiled too."
V nodded in agreement "yeah, Nath is right, you didn't have to be exiled too, plus I think we handled ourselves pretty well, at least better than they ever expected."
"Mhmm." Nathaniel entwined his fingers with V's. "I didn't know it when they kicked me out, but I suspect they may have been right about me liking V. Just a thought."
