Kenzie took the sandwich with a playful smirk.

"Oh, I didn't say now," she pointed out teasingly before taking a bite of the sandwich.

Hunter narrowed his eyes before he lunged at her, pinning her to the ground.
“You should know not to tempt me, Kenz,” Hunter murmured quietly, his voice deep.

Kenzie's eyes widened as she looked up at Hunter, her eyes locking on his. She swallowed the food that was in her mouth, quickly glanced down at his lips, then back up to his eyes again.

Hunter noticed her eyes darting to his mouth and then back on to his eyes. He let a smirk cover his lips and teasingly wet his lower lip with his tongue.
“What is it, Kenz?” Hunter asked huskily. “You look like you want something.”

"Always," Kenzie whispered simply in reply. "I just don't show it."

(Hot as in 80 something degrees.)

Hunter let his hand rub Kenzie’s cheeks, finding him falling into her eyes, lost with no way to escape.
“Why want something you already have?” Hunter murmured, pressing their foreheads together. “You’ve already conquered all of me. There’s nothing left of me that hasn’t fallen for you.”

Hunter bit his lip to hold back the groan that wanted to escape. He wanted nothing more than to kiss Kenzie breathless, but he had to control himself.
“You,” he breathed out. “Everything that is yours. Your tears, your burden, your stress, your happiness— I want it to be mine. I want all of you to be mine.”
Hunter reached down to take Kenzie’s mouth in a kiss, but pulled back and trailed her lips with his thumb.
“I want these lips of yours,” he kissed her lips again. “And your cheeks. Your eyes.” He planted a soft kiss on what he named before grabbing her hand and placing it on her heart, not wanting to touch her like that without her permission. “And your heart. I want it all.”

"You have it," Kenzie breathed before reaching up to capture Hunter's lips with her own. She pulled away slightly to speak again. "I'm yours."

(OH SO THAT'S WHY GUYS DO THAT!!! I mean it makes sense but I always wondered why they didn't indicate the girl's heart with their own hand. Thank you for this sudden realization.)

The minute Kenzie finished speaking, Hunter pressed his mouth against hers, wanting to do nothing more than to devour her. His mind kept yelling at him to take it slow and easy, but Kenzie just drove him insane.
