"Tried to find that exit Sunny told us about. It is heavily guarded. Lique knows what he's doing." He tried to pull the bar out but his hands slipped on the bloody surface. "I've had worse. Literally" He seemed way too calm for what was happening.
Cassia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She could do this. She could help someone. Opening her eyes, "Don't pull it out, the bar is plugging the wound. Besides, you probably have some holes in your organs by now," she instructed. She let out her breath, relieved that she'd gotten it over with. "Also, who's Lique?" she added, as an afterthought.
He shrugged and abandoned tugging on the pole. "Lique is that guy that teleported in here earlier. The really creepy guy." He looked at his hands which were now coated in his own blood. "I can't really have a meter long pole through me forever, what do I do with it?"
She shrugged, her face falling, though it wasn't very obvious. Cassia hadn't been in a great mood to begin with. "I dunno, I guess you're stuck with it for now."
"Fun." Sebastian said, not seeming too bothered. "Anything happened with you guys while I was gone?"
The girl tilted her head to the side, "Not much." In a split second the girl griped the poll in her hands easily melting through the metal. "Now it's only a foot long." She commented shaking her hands off.
"Oh, jeez! Um, I mean thanks!" Seb stuttered. "Did we catch your name before or…?" He asked the girl
Sunny wakes up in a dark room, the lights have been disconnected. She looks to try and find anything familiar, all she finds is a dark figure standing, watching her. "What are you going to do with me now?" she stutter, "Kill me?"
(is it Lique? should I be doing something?)
(I kinda have a feeling he isn't someone to kidnap people)
(No clue, make it up. That reminds me: EVERYONE, YOU ARE ALLOWED MORE THAN ONE CHARACTER)
"It's Livi, or C24601, But I like Livi better." she said pressing her now burned hands on the cool wall, "Pretty cool right, The only problem is they never figured out how to keep my skin from burning."
"I can see how that would be a bit of a problem." Sebastian touched the shortened pole. "That's gonna be a lotta fun." He said, his voice thick with sarcasm.
Cassia stood up, not wanting to be there anymore. She shuffled a bit she took a couple steps towards the door, and then stopped where she was. She clutched her her with her other hand, eyes downcast. Hair falling in her face, Cassia sighed.
"You okay?" Seb asked Cassia. He was genuinely concerned for her and didn't want her getting hurt wandering the corridors.
Livi frowned her eye's full of worry, "Hey pretty wing lady?" She walked up to the girl and looked up into her face, "I'll protect you, Promise!" She smiled up at the older girl, "So you don't have to worry about it!"
"Pretty wing lady?" Cassia echoed, confused. "I'm… just call me Cassia." she couldn't quite come to terms with 'Cassia' being her name, so she went with Cassia being her nickname. In response to Sebastian's question, she shook her head, but replied, "I'm fine… fine…" she echoed the last word a couple of times before her voice faded out.
"Just go. You need some time, I can tell. I'll try not to bleed out by the time you get back." Seb said, leaning back against a table. "If you get back." He added.
The guy watching Sunny laughed. "Not yet. But sit tight. I'll bring someone else to join the party." He flickered slightly and disappeared, leaving Sunny in the deadlocked room.
Lique had realised his mistake. These Cassia and Lili people were civilians. Not from the organisations. He cursed himelf as he tried to figure out what to do. He had put the public at risk, a child for that matter. "We really fucked up, Ess." Mmm not me. I've done my part. "You haven't done shit." Ess made an offended noise but went silent.
Lique plucked a small round clear orb from a pouch and crushed it in his hands. He rubbed his hands together and ran his fingers through his hair. Then he teleported.
Seb watched Cassia and Livi leave. As soon as they were out of earshot, he felt a sharp pain shoot through his body as something cold and hard hit his head and he collapsed.
The figure in the room with Sunny reappeared and tossed Sebastian down on the floor beside her. His shoulder was still bleeding from where the now shorter pole was but not as much. "Well this is awkward." Seb said to Sunny. "Oh no, not at all!" The guy said. The room must've become lighter because they could make out a tail swaying behind the man and two cat like ears on his head.
"Did you find the exit? God, I hope you did, I want you guys to get out of here. Oh my god! Your shoulder, here." Sunny grabbed it and Sebastian winced. "If you move it will only make it worse!" When she took her hand away the wound was almost completely healed. "Where are the others?"
(Cassia hasn't gone anywhere though)
(you hadn't come on so I kinda just made stuff happen)
(yeah, sorry about that, i was a bit busy aha)
"Thanks, there's now a bar in my shoulder." Seb said to Sunny, blank faced. "This is what happened when I found the the exit."
"No, it should be gone, I wouldn't let it heal into your skin." Sunny looks down, realising Seb's social queue. "I'm sorry." She almost whispered the words.
(okay then. i was kind of just waiting for livi's response)
The figure in the room with Sunny and Sebastian suddenly showed itself. They looked about 16-17 and weren't actually touching the ground. They lay, hovering, on their back, with their head back and legs crossed. "Hi! I'm Chess!" He had a bushy black tail that flicked onto his stomach and a couple of small pointy ears on his head, poking out of his messy hair.
