I think it was so that we have a limit as to who can guess or else simply everyone would just out others

Let me try to clarify

It was set so that only those who register can guess. If anyone else tried to, it wouldn't be very fun for others

Oh, well we don't have to have an end date to registration.

Since this is getting pretty confusing, it might be easier to just start a new thread under a new owner; it doesn't seem like @EmptyNebula is going to clarify things at any point in the future.

The October 20th thing was I think either when we start guessing so register before then so it wasn't confusing or just when we start guessing.
