“Yeah I think that might work. I mean..only if your did is okay with the..um..you know..two mom thing.” He said quietly, opening the door for her before climbing in and starting it.
“Yeah I think that might work. I mean..only if your did is okay with the..um..you know..two mom thing.” He said quietly, opening the door for her before climbing in and starting it.
“My dad is perfectly fine with it. He was the one to teach me about things like that. It’s why his family doesn’t talk to us anymore, because he came out as Pansexual after Lynette, my biological mother, left us. Dated a nice man named Michael for a little bit.” She hummed softly, tilting her head. “I’m not entirely sure what I am yet. Im attracted to male-presenting people…” she explained as she sat down, chattering away about her experiences for a little while. She paused and glanced at him.
“Can I ask you about this stuff? Is that alright?”
“Of course you can. I’ll love you no matter who you choose to be.” He said with a smile, leaning over to kiss her gently before pulling out of the driveway. “I want to get to know you more. Tell me anything.”
She giggled softly at the kiss and blushed, running her fingers over her lips. “What do you want to know? I talk a lot and I love to write.”
Tyler laughed and shook his head. "I already know that, even though you don't talk too much. I love hearing you talk. When did you start writing?"
She beamed up at him, taking in every handsome detail of his face. “I started in seventh grade.” Her head tilted sideways, a soft look of loving kindness resting in her eyes.
“And now you’ve written a book. You never fail to amaze me.” He shook his head, smiling and squeezing her hand. “I love you so much..”
She giggled happily and leaned over to kiss his cheek. “I love you even more, Tyler.”
They pulled up to the restaurant and Tyler got out, opening the door for Xio and taking her hand as they walked inside. It was a fairly nice place, not too expensive and not too cheap.
Xiomara looked around and grinned. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. “It smells good in here…” she commented, looking over to him and winking.
Tyler laughed and nodded. “It does.”
They got seated at a small table and were given menus. He let his foot rest against Xio’s, smiling softly as he read the menu.
She playfully kicked her foot against his, grinning lightly as she looked over the menu as well. “What are you thinking about getting?”
“Don’t know yet..” he murmured. His eyes had drifted from the menu to her, his head tilting to the side a bit as he gazed lovingly across at her.
She looked up at him and blushed lightly. “Whaaat?” She dipped her head behind her menu, only showing her eyes.
“You’re just so gorgeous..” he murmured, laughing softly. “Can’t seem to keep my eyes off of you.”
She blushed and grew shy, laughing softly and hiding away her face. “Tyler, you flatter me too much.”
“You could never be flattered enough. You’re too beautiful.” He grinned, blushing lightly and looking back down at his menu.
She giggled happily at his words and tangled her leg around his. “Well, I happen to think you’re incredibly handsome. It leaves me breathless”
Tyler huffed lightly, still blushing and looking down at the table. He smiled and ran a hand through his hair, not sure what to say. “I..thank you..” He said quietly, not used to being complimented so much to his face.
She bit her lip and shuffled nervously, giggling softly. “It’s the truth, Tyler.” She hummed, glancing up at him shyly.
He laughed softly as well, reaching across and taking her hand, kissing it sweetly. “What did I do to deserve you?” He murmured, squeezing her hand slightly before setting it back down on the table.
Xio smiled shyly and shook her head with a small giggle. “You deserve the whole world Tyler. I wouldn’t want this any other way.”
"I don't know, the whole world seems too big. I'll settle for just you, if that's alright." He glanced up as the waiter came around and took their drink orders.
She smiled at the waiter and ordered a simple lemonade, humming softly as she looked back at Tyler. “I’ll give you everything I can then.”
Tyler ordered as well and laughed softly as they gazed at each other. “You already have, Xio.”
She flashed him a smile and stuck her tongue out at him. “I’ll give you more then. I want to, Tyler. You’re my boyfriend. I love you.”
"I love you too, Xiomara." He smiled gently. The waiter came around with their drinks and took their food orders as well, obviously and hopelessly flirting with Xio with the little time he had to take their orders.
Xiomara smiled at Tyler, hardly taking her eyes off of Tyler even as the waiter busied about. She puffed her cheeks out and looked to Tyler with a soft sigh, wanting to be alone with him once more. She quickly gave the waiter her order and paid him no attention.
Tyler glared steadily at the waiter until he was finished and rushed away, blushing heavily. He shifted his gaze back to Xio and it softened a bit at the sight of her. "Seems i'm not the only one who thinks you're gorgeous."
Xiomara huffed lightly and took Tyler’s hand. “I guess so… but I much prefer to be with you. Such a flirty waiter.” She shook her head but laughed softly. “I love you, Tyler, but don’t think I didn’t see that jealous look in your eyes.”
