"What? Am I not allowed to be a little protective?" He huffed lightly, squeezing her hand and frowning at the table. "I have the right to be jealous."

She laughed softly and shook her head. “You’re allowed to be jealous, and a little protective. But know I won’t leave you for anybody else.”

"I know.." Tyler sighed. "I'm just completely and hopelessly in love with you and you're all mine." He kissed her hand.

She blushed, dipping her head shyly away from his loving eyes. “I am yours. I’m all yours, Tyler.” She murmured.

Their food came a couple minutes later and Tyler ate in comfortable silence, glancing up at her every so often. His gaze would linger on her for a couple seconds, admiring her expressions and everything about her.

Xiomara would catch him staring those few times. She would get a little flustered and even waved at him at one point. With a soft giggle she ate a forkful of her meal, sticking her tongue out right after.

Tyler smiled as he ate, sticking his tongue out at her in return with a quiet laugh.
They finished eating a while later and he sat back, noticing their surroundings for the first time since they arrived.

Xio’s eyes followed his to their surroundings, taking in the other customers and their incoherent chatter to one another. It was calming and warm. She liked it here. Tyler had chosen a wonderful place to eat.

“Thank you…” she murmured gently, resting her wide brown eyes on him. “Dinner was wonderful.”0

“It was, wasn’t it.” He replied happily, taking out his wallet as the waiter came back. “Do you want dessert?” Tyler asked Xio.

Xiomara shook her head and grinned. “Your taste is enough to be my desert. All I’d like is a kiss.” She teased, laughing lightly and giving the waiter a glance.

The waiter handed them the check and Tyler got his wallet out, waiting for him to come back so they could leave. “How sweet. That sounds wonderful.” He said with a smile.

She blushed lightly and nodded. “I love your kisses.” She murmured, smiling. “I really love your kisses.”

“I really love your kisses too.” Tyler laughed gently, taking his card from the waiter and stood up, ready to leave.

Xiomara stood when Tyler did, her whole body tingling with excitement. She stepped to his side, thanked the waiter, and gently took Tyler’s hand. “I love you a whole lot more, though.”

"Really?" Tyler hummed, lacing their fingers together as they walked out of the restaurant. "And how do you suppose that?" He asked with a grin.

She grinned back and winked. “Well, for one, it’s a fact. And for two, I could kiss you all day and never get tired of it. And you’re just overall super wonderful and lovable.”

“I could say the same for you, darling. You’re the loveliest person I’ve ever met.” He smiled, pulling her close and kissing her.

Her eyes lit up in a happiness she couldn’t quite express, laughing softly as he kissed her. She pressed back into it, her fingers tangling into his hair slightly.

Tyler pulled her close, resting one hand on her waist and the other on her neck. He smiled against her lips and gazed at her lovingly. “I love you.”

Xiomara’s eyelids drooped a little but she gazed at him with a love-struck light. “I love you too, Tyler.” She murmured in reply, stealing another kiss from his lips. She couldn’t get enough of him.

Tyler gave her one more loving gaze before continuing to walk to the car with her close by his side. “I love you more, Xio.” He grinned, bumping against her playfully.

She bumped him back and grinned. “Mm I love you the mostest.” She winked and giggled happily. She couldn’t contain how happy he made her.

“I’m horrible at English but I’m pretty positive that mostest is not a word.” He laughed, getting into the car after opening Xio’s door.

Xiomara climbed into the car and huffed lightly. "Well, I'm an author and so I say it is a word. Just for me to use."

“Oh, I didn’t realize you had the power to make up words?” Tyler laughed, starting the car and beginning to drive away.

"I'm an author, honey, we can do what we want. Shakespeare made up words." She giggled happily, staring at him lovingly. "This was a lot of fun. Thank you Tyler."

“I guess you’re right.” He smiled, pulling into her driveway. “You’re very welcome, thanks for saying yes when I asked you out.” Tyler laughed softly, leaning over to kiss her. “Do you want me to come inside?”

Xiomara’s heart did a little flip when he kissed her. She nodded softly at his words and gently unbuckled. “Yes! Come on inside! You can meet my dad and we can hang out for a bit.”

“Sounds good.” He agreed, giving her one more gentle kiss before unbuckling as well and checking his hair quickly before getting out. Tyler took Xio’s hand as they started walking towards the door, squeezing it gently.
