@Spider-man
Cat shook her head. “There’s nothing to worry about I’ve gotten out of worse situations,” She half lied. She has broken out of jail but that jail wasn’t a dungeon in a castle guarded by hundreds of soldiers.

"Mhmm." Aurelie was not convinced. "I'll get you out, okay? I really will. I can go talk to my father now, if you want. Maybe he'll listen."
“What would you even tell him?” She asking laughing darkly. She sat down on the wooden bench against the wall. It wobbled under her.
"I don't know…I'll figure something out," Aurelie responded, determined. "I swear that I will find a way to get you out of here, okay?"
She rolled her eyes. “Don’t you get it? I don’t need you and I don’t want your help! Your just some spoiled princess getting in my way,” she snapped glaring at her. She was trying to get her mad. Maybe then she won’t care about her. Cat didn’t want Aurelie to get distracted.
Aurelie blinked, stung. "That wasn't what you said yesterday," she replied, hurt evident on her face. She didn't even try to hide it this time. She didn't understand why Cat was suddenly acting like this. She was only trying to help her.
She chuckled darkly trying to cover for the fact that her own eyes where watering by standing up and turning her back to her. “I was doing what I do best. Lying. You’re just so gullible and it was so easy. Now leave! Your no use to me anymore.” She was saying what she knew Aurelie thought of her the day before. That she was using her and lying. That made things easier knowing that the princess already felt that way.
Aurelie swallowed the sudden lump in her throat, her heart pounding. "No, stop it! Is this your way of spiting me because I didn't believe you yesterday? Because I'm sorry, I really am!" she sniffled, feeling pathetic.
She closed her eye. “Leave Aurelie just leave,” she tried again forcing herself to not look at her. She could hear her brother chuckle in the other cell.
Aurelie glared at Cat’s brother. “Shut up and stay out of this,” she snapped, her temper rising before she turned to Cat. To save face, she was turning her sadness into anger, just like she always seemed to do. “You know what, fine. Fine. Have your stupid little games. I hope you know that you’re making a horrible mistake, Caterina.” Aurelie spat her name, using it to remind Cat of her earlier betrayal.
Cat flinched at the use of her full name. “The only mistake I made was talking to you in the first place,” she muttered closing her eyes and still not turning around.
“Me too,” Aurelie huffed, storming off. Her heels were loud against the mostly quiet atmosphere as she walked away, the only sound she would let herself make before she was gone.
Ava heard a growling sound from the other cell. “How the hell does she know your name?” She ignore him sitting on the ground as tears fell from her eyes. She had to get out of there.
Meanwhile Aurelie walked briskly back to her room to plan for her birthday. Maybe Cat was right about that, even if she was a liar and apparently hated Aurelie’s guts.
(Time skip a few days)
Cat checked the bars and doors of the cell to see if he can escape.
Aurelie paced as she contemplated her rapidly approaching birthday. It was only three days away now, and she had no idea what to do. The only person who knew how she really felt was Eli, and she hadn’t even gotten to talk to him much in the past few days.
Cat had escaped the night before. Her brother shortly after. Word was starting to travel in the castle but the rumor was they were long gone.
Aurelie wasn’t sure how she felt about Cat escaping. On one hand, she was incredibly glad and relieved, but she was also a bit mad about it, since Cat had been so awful to her when they had last spoken. Mostly she just missed Cat.
(I meant to ask if you wanted a time change but i forgot the ?)
Cat was still in town. her brother was long gone but she was hiding out…she couldn't get herself to leave until she found out if Aurelie was ok.
(ohhh sorry sure)
Aurelie sighed as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. The castle was being decorated for her birthday already, so many preparations under way. But she just wanted to escape. All she could think about was Cat. She found a more beat-up looking dress and a different cape and decided to head out into the village.
Ava was sitting up on the roof where she brought Aurelie. She had been staying up there since the days before had been nice. Instead of sitting on any off the chairs she sat on the floor hidden by a box so she couldn’t be spotted by anyone that chose to look up and probably no one who climbed up.
Aurelie hurried out of the castle, her head shrouding her face better than the last one, though not by much. She didn’t realize where she was going until she was only a few buildings away from the one where she sat on the roof with Cat.
Cat sat there her sketchbook open but she just stared at it. Thinking.
Aurelie stopped herself before she got to the actual building. What if Cat was there? She had escaped from the dungeon. Aurelie paused a few feet from the building.
usually when cats alone and especially when she’s in town she never puts her guard down. Always looking around and fidgeting but today she sat still her eyes closed. She knew that if she opened them the tears would come and she dried to much in the past few days. She had changed out of the dirty maid uniform and into her usually shirt and pants.
She sighed, steeling herself. Cat probably wasn’t there, right? She began to climb up to the roof, being fairly loud and clumsy.
Cat heard someone come up and snapped out of her daze. Hiding more behind the box and taking out her knife. Just in case.
Aurelie soon had her head to where she could see the roof, and she didn’t see anyone. “Phew,” she sighed, glad that she was alone.
Cat closed her eyes again ignoring whoever was there. From the sound they made they were probably just hiding out. Kids come out here all the time, as long as they don’t go near her Cat leaves them alone.
Aurelie got onto the roof and sat down, watching the ground below with a small smile. She slowly took her hood off, revealing her mess of strawberry blonde waves.
