“Well, last time we went to restaurant you almost had an anxiety attack.” He reminded softly, wrapping his arm around the other and nuzzling into Nathaniel’s hair

"Really? I don't remember that…" Nathaniel hummed, now trying to think back.

“Well it wasn’t the restaurant, more at the cafe but we didn’t stay long.” He glanced up when the waitress came back. “Alright, if you’ll follow me.”

(Do you remember what page that was on? I forgot and now I'm curious lol)
"Oh…" Nathaniel took V's hand and followed him to the table, thanking the waiter when they were seated.

(Uhhhmmm try 20-30? I have no clue)
V followed the two to the table and sat down across from Nathaniel. He also thanked the waitress and scanned through the menus for something to eat

(Alright lol)
"These are all really fancy…" Nathaniel sighed, examining the menu. "I don't know what most of these words even mean. What are you getting, V?"

He glanced up and pointed to a pasta dish with chicken. “I was thinking of getting this, have you figured out what you want or do you want share?”

"Um… I have no idea, love, honestly." Nathaniel sighed, looking back at his menu. "What do you think I'd like?"

V scrunched his lips to the side in thought and flipped back to another past dish with cheese and an herb pesto. “This is really good,” he suggested, showing him the picture of the dish

Nathaniel examined it curiously. "Looks good to me." He shrugged. "What is it, exactly?"

“A ravioli pesto dish, it’s tastes amazing.” V explained with a smile, ordering a water when the waiter came by with bread rolls

Nathaniel nodded again. "I guess I'll get that, then. It sounds good." He watched the waiter walk away. "What did you say you were getting?"

"A pasta dish with chicken and shrimp in an Alfredo sauce." he said, taking a sip of his water and taking a bread roll. "try one, they're not bagels but they're pretty good."

Nathaniel shrugged and picked up a roll, taking a bite. "Mmm… pretty good, I suppose." He took another bite.

V chuckled softly “mmm, better than Bagels?” He drawled with smirk, dipping the bread in some flavored oil the waiter had brought

"Well, I dunno about that, but they're pretty good." Nathaniel huffed, dipping his bread in the oil when he saw V do it.

“What am I going to do with you my love,” He side softly and continued to eat the bread

"Love me unconditionally? Cuddles?" Nathaniel suggested with a cheeky grin.

"Always angel." he smiled back, taking his hand in his and rubbing small circles on the back of his hand

Nathaniel smiled brighter and held tight to V's hand. "How do we order our food?" He asked.

V tilted his head with a laugh "Love you just point to the item on the menu and specify any allergies or anything you want on the side. He glanced up when the waiter came back and winked at Nathaniel. he ordered his dish and passed back the menu.
"And for you?" the waiter asked Nathaniel

Nathaniel glanced back at the menu. "Um… I'm having the, uh… ravioli pesto? Whatever it comes with is fine." He gave his menu to the waiter, seeming a little relieved when he walked away.

V smiled proudly at Nathaniel and pressed a kiss to his fingertips. “That wasn’t so bad now was it?”

"It was pretty bad." Nathaniel snickered, trying to hide his embarrassed grin with his free hand.

V rolled his eyes playfully “it wasn’t. You did really good.” He smiled and took another bread roll

"Not really, but I don't want to argue with you." Nathaniel picked up another roll as well.

“It’ll come easier once we go out more.” He winked and munched on the bread as they waited for their meals to come

"Hopefully." Nathaniel sipped his water while they waited, eventually noticing the bottle of wine on their table. "They give us wine?"

He glanced at the bottle “yeah, I guess. Want to try?” He asked, taking a glass from the end of the table

"Sure." Nathaniel shrugged, taking a glass of his own. "You know, I had a bit of wine when I was younger. Did you? It seemed to be a pretty common thing up there."
