"Hey Seb! I'm getting you out of here, I don't work for them anymore, hence why they threw me in here. They don't know what I know though! I've already seen the creatures, so go ahead.." I know I should hate him, but I don't. I'm seeking refuge with his people after all…
"Hurry up Cass or I'm gonna leave you behind! Oh my god, you left the bag! Take mine, I don't need it, since I helped create them…"
Sebastian heard Cassia walk out and slowed a bit. "Or I could let the creature catch me, you know, make the inevitable happen sooner." He muttered to himself.
Sebastian yelled curses as he walked. Curses in an old language, a language that hadn't been spoken for thousands of years, only read.
"Sebastian! Even though the powers down you still need me to tame it! It's not going anywhere near you!" I run ahead and race to the door, my heart pounding.
I understand the words he is screaming, Curses, I return with my own insult in the language.
"What do you mean by that?" Sebastian said, his voice suddenly cold. "And do tell us exactly what the Hades Corporation thinks is going on,"
"Because I can guarantee you what they think isn't the truth."
I double-take, "I'm not sure what you mean. I snuck my way in here to save your ass and you think I know whats going on!" I see the confusion on his face, I lift my other sleeve and rub the makeup off of it. "I'm seeking refuge with your people! So can we at least TRY and get along?" I roll my eyes and open the door to the lab. "Go find Cassia!" I slam it in his face.
Seb looked up. "Cassia?" he called. "Seems I'm the only one with sense." He muttered. "Cassia, I'm sorry, I'll tell you everything ok? Everything, I promise."
"Please don't be dead please don't be dead" He whispered to himself as he paced down the hall, looking for Cassia.
I walk in to find the monster at my feet. I always hated these things, hence why they made me work with them. I decide it's better to let the others escape and for me to stay down here. I start writing instructions on how to escape. I feel drained and suddenly hear someone crying in the corner of the room. I call out to whoever it is, I don't get an answer. I realise it's me, then The door slams open.
"Cassia, please don't joke around." He didn't trust that Sunny. Then again, he didn't trust himself. As he reached the room they started in, he noticed something different. The body was gone. His head pulsed as he remembered. He wouldn't tell Sunny, he didn't trust her. But he started walking back trying to find Cassia.
(oof! i'm wayyyyy too far ahead in the story!)
(now I gotta wait though aha)
(ah I'm sorry I haven't been responding, i was doing something else)
(i promise i'll get one up in a bit)
Cassia had shied away back into the room. Whatever dark business these two were a part of she didn't want anything to do with it. "I want EVERYTHING," she demanded. "You can't leave anything behind. In return, I'll tell you mine." Again, muttering under her breath, she said, "Not like I have much to hide anyways."
Sebastian heard Cassia and jogged back. "Cassia?" He poked his head around the door. "You ok?"
"You gotta tell me everything," her eyes were hardened, and emotionless. Bottling up all her emotions, tossing them aside.
(I'm just going to…)
There was a pause of silence, anyone who cared to listen closely would here the soft giggles of a child. If one were to look up you could just make out the form of a young girl ,around 8 years, dangling upside down form the support beams in the ceiling. She liked the winged one, her feathers were such a pretty color.
Sebastian sighed. "I will. All that I know." He walked in and sat on one of the only stood up tables in the room. "This is a lab, as you can see. Sunny and I were from two separate corporations. She left hers and is now in mine. This lab has certain creatures in it that are out to kill us. I used to be able to control them but I haven't tried in years. We got thrown in here, I don't know why. But I don't quite trust Sunny, she hasn't made sense at some points. The Hades Corporation, her old one, are out to kill me and will kill me on sight. And there used to be a body in this room but there isn't now. Anything else you want to know?"
Sebastian sat up at the laugh. "What was that?" He seemed oddly panicked.
"What's what?" The girl replied swinging back and forth, "I didn't here anything except the screams of the person who just walked into the room with the creature, I can't tell if they're dead or not, to far away.". Her voice seemed oddly out of place, such a young voice talking causally about death would put anyone on edge.
I get up, wiping the tears away from my face. I see the monster but it doesn't attack. That's not good, I scream.
Seb stood quickly and pulled a gun from thin air, pointing it a the the young girl.
"Leave the girl alone… for now," Cassia ordered. "First off, who are you and why are you here?" she demanded, looking up at the girl in the rafters.
Seb tentatively put the gun down but kept holding it just in case. "Fine. I won't shoot her. Yet." He growled, sitting back down.
I run past the figure in the doorway, I know it's chasing after me but I'm too far ahead. I run into the lab room we started in and slam the door behind me, holding it closed. Cassia and Sebastian look at me with confusion. "So the good news is, the monster's tamed, the bad news is I didn't tame it. Someone else is here and-" I see that Matt's body is gone from the table. "And I think I just found out who the person is…" How is this possible!
