"I'll let you make arrangements, father. I know how you've always wanted to. Ta ta." He waved and walked away, gently taking Aki's hand to pull him along with him.
"I'll let you make arrangements, father. I know how you've always wanted to. Ta ta." He waved and walked away, gently taking Aki's hand to pull him along with him.
Aki curtsied before following after, giving Cas's hand a gentle squeeze, not saying anything as they walked away from the throne room.
Cas sighed once they were out, quietly leading Aki away. He still seemed rather tense after the brief encounter with his father.
Aki said nothing, continuing to hold his hand until they were in private, where he turned to Cas and gently kissed him. "It's alright." He whispers softly.
Cas just hugged Aki and whispered a few phrases softly, mostly comprising of .sorries' and 'I'm okays'.
"My love." He whispered gently, cupping Cas's cheek. "Cas. There is no reason for you to apologize." He whispers gently, tracing Cas's lower lip. "You are safe with me. I promise."
Cas looked up at him weakly. "I-I hope for your sake that you won't have many encounters with my father…" He whispered, hiding his face again. "I can't stand to even be in a room with him…"
Aki held him close, running a gentle hand through Cas's hair. "Let us hope for his sake, he never sees me angry." He replies quietly. "Cas. I will do anything to protect you from him." He whispers. "I love you. And you are safe now."
Cas nodded a bit. "I hope you can… He can be quite violent, though. I'm doing all in my power to keep him from starting wars whenever he's angry. The man's insane."
"I know baby…" he whispers softly, kissing his forehead. He gently ran a hand through Cas's hair, knowing it soothed him earlier. "I will make sure that he does not hurt you anymore." He whispers as he held onto Cas protectively.
He relaxed more, trying to clear his mind. "I'm sorry I'm such a wuss…" He murmured, holding tighter to Aki.
Aki shook his head. "You're not a wuss, love. You're strong, brave, and talented. Do not tell me what is not true." He mutters, kissing his forehead.
"How am I strong, brave, or talented?" He asked softly. "Right now I'm just feeling anxious…"
Aki smiled. "Because, Cas. You face your anxiety. You fight constantly in your mind. You could have given up a long time ago, love. You really could have. But did you? No." He kisses the others lips. "That takes strength and bravery most men cannot apprehend. As for your talents, my love. You have so many of them." He whispers.
Cas's eyes shone with tears and surprise for a moment before he buried his face in Aki's shoulder, trembling. "Th-Thank you, love… I don't deserve someone like you…"
Aki smiled gently and ran a hand through his hair. "I am only stating the facts, angel." He whispers, kissing the top of his head. "I am only here to remind you of your strength Cas, and to support you in all the possible ways I can." He whispers.
"S-Stop, you're gonna make me cry." He laughed shakily, kissing Aki's cheek. No matter what Aki said, he didn't know if he could feel anything but weak.
Aki smiled gently, kissing his lips fully, holding Cas close. He was going to make sure that Cas would be okay. That he wouldn't be hurt anymore. Even if it meant taking the King's wrath.
"I love you…" He murmured before hiding his face again. "You're too good for me…"
"I love you too angel. And I'm good enough for you." He whispered, holding onto him gently.
"What have I done to deserve you, though…?" He asked softly.
"Stumbling into my shop is a good start." He laughs gently, kissing his lips softly. "You're amazing my love. I should be asking why I deserve you."
"You deserve better than me, love…" Cas kissed him back a couple times between phrases. "So much better…"
"I deserve you. Nothing more. Nothing less." He mutters softly, leaning down, returning the gentle kisses. "You are perfect, my love."
Cas blushed a bit and looked away. "If you say so, love… I can't say that I agree, though."
He chuckles. "I say so." He mutters softly as he kisses the others shoulder. He sighed softly and played with Cas's hair.
Cas leaned into his hand again and started relaxing more. "I'm glad I found you…"
"I'm glad I was there that night." He whispers, kissing Cas's lips slowly, his hand continuing to play with his hair.
"Me too…" Cas kissed him back, closing his eyes.
He smiled a little to himself. "Why don't we go somewhere more private? My legs are starting to hurt from standing so much." He chuckles softly.
