Aki glanced at him before chuckling, kissing Cas's forehead before gently reaching for the book that he was aiming for. "Here you are love." He says happily.

@Vuclan-is-tired

"No problem." He replies, kissing Cas's lips sweetly before grabbing a book that felt right before settling down in one of the big, fluffy chairs the library offered.

@Fraust

Cas sat beside him to read, falling silent as he delved into the book. It was one he'd read so often he practically knew it by heart, but he still picked it up every time he came here.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Aki read quietly, sometimes muttering spells beneath his breath before giggling quietly whenever it works. He would glance at Cas every so often before returning to his reading.

@Fraust

Cas seemed to be reading quite quickly, but then again, he had read the book over and over. It was a potions book- he'd never been able to pull off spells before- and he just wanted to memorize all the recipes.

@Fraust

(Ooh I could always have someone try to assassinate Cas? He's the prince and all, and his father is kinda making people angry)

@Fraust

(Aight)
Cas woke up before Aki for once and stood up, stretching. He pulled off his shirt to go look for new clothes to change into, and had just put it away when he heard his window smash. He jumped, turning to look. As soon as he did, white hot pain shot through his abdomen. He fell to the ground, clutching the wound. "Guards!" He called, though they'd already run into the room to apprehend the attacker.

Aki had woken up when Cas had, hearing the shatter making him start and hide, whimpering quietly. When he heard the guards he shifted into his female form, his eyes widening as he hurried to Cas's side, kneeling beside him, "Cas, Cas are you okay? Let me see the wound…" He was muttering to himself, panicking as his shaky hands grabbed anything he could use to help the injury.

@Fraust

Cas shook his head, shying away from Aki. He was breathing heavily and had gone quite pale, sticky crimson seeping between his fingers. Once the shooter had been restrained, a guard ran to Cas and picked him up bridal style. "We need to take him to the infirmary immediately." The guard explained to Aki hurriedly before heading out of the room.

Aki gulped softly as he tried to pry away Cas's fingers, wanting to heal it, to help him. He was crying now, his breath trembling as the shooter was restrained and Cas was picked up. He didn't want anyone to touch his love, but he kept quiet. He nods and follows after desperately keeping a watch on Cas.

@Fraust

Cas passed out on the way, his blood stained hand falling limp off his side and revealing the wound. Not a whole lot of the wound itself was really visible through the blood, but it seemed to be in his lower abdomen, slightly askew.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Aki had to try and keep up with the guards, his eyes wide with terror. He stared at the crimson along Cas's abdomen and on his hands and he choked back a sob.

@Fraust

The guards rushed into the infirmary, startling the poor lady working in there. "Oh dear! What happened?" She asked once she'd gathered her bearings, running to Cas's side.
"He's been shot, ma'am. He needs immediate medical attention."
"Yes, yes of course!" They lay Cas down on the table to assess the damage.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Aki stopped in the doorway, his eyes on Cas the entire time, his lip trembling as he clutched his hands to his chest. He couldn't lose his love. He refused to. But he couldn't do anything.

@Fraust

Cas was shivering and seemed to be trying to wake up, but he couldn't right now. The woman started cleaning the wound gently, soon soaking the towel she was using.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Aki trembled, wanting to move closer, wanting to help in someway. But he would reveal he was using magic, and who knew what might happen. He could only watch miserably.

@Fraust

She added some pressure and Cas jolted awake, gasping for breath. She tried to soothe him, but he was just panicking right now and barely heard her. His violent shaking was making it more difficult for her to keep the towel where it needed to be.
