Orion gripped the tank for his dear life when she tipped the tank. He looked down then back at her with wide eyes, fear filling them. He didn't think he was being dramatic or anything. HE WAS BEING SHOVED OFF OF A CLIFF FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
She patted her hand's off and walked over to Orion "Are you ready?" She said grinning as she crouched down next to him.
"Hell no. But youre going to do it anyway aren't you"
"Yep!" She said as she pushed Orion close to the edge, but not off. "I'll jump first though."
"And im just supposed to roll off or what?" He says crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.
Kayla shrugged. "Do what you need to." She said as she took a few steps back before running and jumping off.
"Wait! What!?" He says leaning over the tank. He looked down where she was and accidentally tipped the tank, the water making him fall off of the cliff. "NONONONONONO KAYLA YOURE INSA-" he was quickly cut off my the huge splash of water.
Kayla let out a scream of excitement as she fell and abruptly plunged into the water. She swam towards the surface took a gasped when she got above the water.
Orion quickly swam up to the surface. Now that it was over he was really happy that he was in the water. And his face definitely showed it.
He burst through the surface then back in, swimming around. It was so good to be free again
Kayla tread water as she watched Orion swam around happily. She laughed as she watched him do it. "See? It wasn't that bad."
"Okay, the fall was. It definitely was! But-" he swam around for a few more seconds then surfaced up again and started floating around on his back.
"This is amazing. It was worth it thats for sure" He forgot how big he was himself. He had been cramped in that tank for so long.
Kayla laughed. "Well I can imagine. It was probably like being in a cell." She said as she started to swim towards the rocks.
"It was" he started to follow her. Once he reached the rocks he pulled himself up on top of one with ease, turning to look at her with a sinle.
Kayla lifted herself up onto the rocks and smiled back down at him. "Gosh. Its going to be a pain to hike all the way back up to the wagon." She said with a sigh, running her fingers through her drenched hair.
"I would help you but…." He looked down to his tail, lifting it a bit. He didn't know how heavy it was until he was out of water. Though he easily lifted it.
Kayla chucked. "I'll be fine. Now show should probably. Try to stay away from ships this time." She joked as she wrung her hair out.
"I need food though!" he says laying down on his back facing the sky. His skin looked more like crystals shimmering in the sunlight as it beamed down on him.
Kayla had actually forgot that he ate humans. "Well then stay away from pirate ships." She said as she stood up.
"That's……no I can't do that. That was just one incident. It's fine. I'll be fine" he shrugged and waved his hand.
Kayla crossed her arms. "And why not?" She asked, giving him a skeptical look.
"I've hunted down pirate ships all my life. Am i just supposed to starve?" He says rolling his eyes.
"Why not go after merchant ships?" She asked as she shook off a bit. "Or small fisher boats?"
"Because I like the adrenaline that comes with it. Do you ever do anything risky and fun? I don't get to do a lot of fun things Ya know."
"I basically live off adrenaline." Kayla chuckled. "Alright. I get it. Would you be careful?" She asked.
"Pfft, I'm always careful. What're you talking about?" He says rolling his eyes and sitting up.
Kayla laughed. "Yeah! Sure. You got caught by us and then got caught after getting me to shore. Maybe you just need to stay away from me." She joked.
"Impossible." He turned to her with a wink.
Kayla chuckled. "I'll see you around. Or not. I have to get to the wagon before some hobo decided to take off with it." She sad as she started to climb the rocks.
"I have a feeling you'll be seeing me again" he says with a rather flirtatious smirk. And with that he dove into the water and swam away with a huge splash.
Kayla chuckled. "I'm almost certain I will." She thought looking back at him with a smile before starting to climb again.
