What do you guys do?
I don't try exactly. For me, each story has a meaning if I can find it.
Althalos is about wonder. Maybe it's the wonder of a whole word that can be accessed. The kind that is the reason readers read. Maybe it's that wonder that causes children and adults to dance around and make dramatic speeches while holding a sword aloft. The sort of wonder Tolkien gave to me to fill my mind. The joy from the epic battles between good and evil to the weaving in of the lives of the ordinary people in an extraordinary world.
Gods of Brooklyn. I've been thinking about that very recently. I think it's about redemption, and coming to terms with personal darkness. It's about acknowledging that the world can be dark, and scary, and evil, and that you can loose everything. But also that anyone can be strong enough to change themselves enough to go beyond live though it; to revel in finding joy in life no matter how bad it gets. And that hate will never conquer the darkness. Only light. An old tune but a true one.
Addar. This one is harder. It is also about loss. It is about revenge. I think it's mostly about the fact that morality is hard. Many evil things can come about with good intentions. And even the greatest good can be twisted to evil.

I'd like to be rude to the NaNo website. It's so hard to use and it keeps updating my word count to way higher than it actually is when I didn't do anything. And when I click on the plus sign to update my word count, there's a number in the little box that is NOT my word count and is several thousand ahead of me. I hate it. And it won't let me update my word count on mobile.

This was the bed and breakfast Rp that I think average-lasagna started
We were Rping and then out of nowhere, this guy posts a character template and starts to Rp with us. Me and A-L were like 'um, what the fuck?' And so we told him that he didnt ask to join and therefore couldn't. He became defensive stating he was new and didnt know that he had to ask to join. I said that it was in the rules, which he should have read before doing anything and he said that he did read them but didnt see that rule anywhere. A-L told him he couldn't join and he was like 'well I think your being very rude for not letting me join because I didnt ask to join.' I got slightly pissed and told him that it didnt matter if he thought A-L was being rude because it was their Rp and they could decide who joins and doesn't. I said that if he was new, then he should have checked out the Beginner's Lounge.
He hasn't replied after I said that but I am fairly pissed at this dude
mmm I checked it out and he seems fairly literate, so you know he’s not like, two years old. His template’s really weak so he might be from somewhere that just allows you to enter an RP without permission, like Discord (idk it was the first one I could think of) of Amino.
While they could’ve apologized, they stated that he should read the rules more carefully.
