Henry chuckled. ”I have no idea how many people he’s turned but me and Lysander are still technically his children. Vampire parents have a bit of control over their turned children and we're only considered adults when either the parent lets go of their influence or the child finally has a strong enough will to say no.”

¨Gotta work on that bud or your next girlfriends gonna leave you¨ she said.

”I am trying. Don’t tell Lysander I said this but I think he has a stronger mind. He still can't fully shake off father but he's come close.” he admitted. ”What makes you think there'll be a next girlfriend for me?” he teased.

¨Because Your an attractive man henry¨ she teased.

”That’s true.” he chuckled in agreement. ”It only took me four and a half centuries to find my last girlfriend.”

¨You can do it I belive in you¨ she said giving him a thumbs up.

He smiled. ”Thanks, Bets.” his smile turned a bit awkward as he thought of something. ”So, how exactly do your visions work?”

“And do the visions only involve you and the person you touch?” He asked curiously.

Henry rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. ”So, if I asked, you wouldn't be able to show me my future girlfriend?” he tried to play it off as a joke.

¨I can If I try Hard Enough¨ she said.

He nodded, keeping himself from asking. I’m not that desperate anyway, and I like being surprised. Besides, I don't want her to strain herself over this. ”But you and me? We stay friends, right?”

Betty blinked and she was back to normal her nose bleeding

”Oh my gosh!” Henry quickly grabbed a box of tissues for her as he didn't know what else to do. ”Are you ok?”

¨Yeah, I´m good ¨ she said wiping her nose with a tissue.

”Does this happen often when you see something?” he asked. I’m starting to see why father said to respect her and her ability.

She nodded wiping her nose.

“I’m sorry.” he said, feeling as if this had been his fault for asking those questions.

¨No It´s fine¨ she said.

”If you're sure.” he shrugged. Henry did trust her to know her limits with her powers so he wasn't going to fuss over it if she said she was ok. ”Do you actually want to go to the festival tonight?”

¨Kinda´ve wanted to spend time with you¨ she said. shyly.

”We can go together if you want.” he offered. ”Did Lysander say he was going to pick you up or do you have a curfew?” he ended teasing.

¨I told him I´d get a ride¨ she said.

”I can help with that as long as it's before sunrise.” he smiled.

She clappecd ¨yay¨.

Henry laughed and effortlessly picked her up, spinning her around.

Betty giggled holding on to him.
