Lily laughed. “You know I’ll just pick something with chocolate, right?” she responded with a grin, looking back at him. It was easy to get lost in his eyes.
Lily laughed. “You know I’ll just pick something with chocolate, right?” she responded with a grin, looking back at him. It was easy to get lost in his eyes.
"Then it'll definitely be good. As I said, you can't go wrong with chocolate!" Dae kept the eye contact, looking deep into her beautiful brown eyes. They have always entranced him. He took a step forward as the line moved.
Lily blushed and looked away. “So chocolate strawberry is good, then?” she asked, smiling. It wasn’t that she didn’t like looking his eyes, but she still felt so shy about it all, which was weird, since they had been friends since kindergarten.
"Of course! I've been needing my weekly fix of strawberry, so this is perfect." Daeshim said, still smiling, as the moved up once more. It was finally their turn. Dae looked at Lily as if to ask her if she wanted to talk first or not.
Lily smiled at him, deciding to go first this time. “I’ll have the chocolate chocolate chip milk tea, please,” she said, polite as ever, brushing back a strand of dark hair.
The man recorded Lily's order then looked at Daeshim. "I'll have the chocolate strawberry milk tea, thank you!" He gave the man and smile.
"Those will be out for you shortly." He smiled at them. Dae moved so the next person in line could order.
Lily smiled at him. "I've heard that this place is good, so I'm kind of excited, honestly," she admitted. "I'm honestly kinda glad that the first time I try this is with you, Dae."
"Same here, I mean who better to go to a bubble tea place with than the bubble tea master?!" Daeshim smiled back to Lily.
She laughed. “Please. If anyone is the bubble tea master, it’s you.”
(bump)
(Awe heck!! Sorry!!!)
"Oh I know my dear, it runs in my veins," Daeshim said with a little laugh. The people behind the counter gave Lily and Dae their tea, he immediately took a sip. A satisfied breath escaped his mouth, it was delicious.
(it’s ok hahah)
Lily took a sip of hers, and another, and another. It was several seconds before she came up for air. “This is awesome!” she exclaimed. “How’s yours?”
"Absolutely amazing, this is definitely the best tea shop I've been to, and that's saying something." Dae took another sip, the same outcome as before.
“Trade?” Lily asked with a grin. It was something that she liked doing; each person taking a sip of the other’s drink. Her own was amazing, but she did admittedly want to try Daeshim’s.
"Of course!" Daeshim smiled and took Lily's drink, handing his to her. He took a sip, his smile growing the moment he tasted it. "Oh man, this one's amazing!"
Lily tried his and beamed. “Yours is super good too!” she chirped, taking another tiny sip before handing it back. “This place is definitely worth a repeat.”
Daeshim nodded enthusiastically as he took his back. "Do you wanna go sit down?" He asked before taking a sip.
“Oh, yeah!” She nodded and walked over to a booth, gracefully sitting on one of side of it. She’d almost forgotten there were tables and booths. She took another sip.
Daeshim followed and sat on the other side of the booth. He smiled at Lily and took another sip. "So, what should we do next?"
“I don’t know, I’m not good with planning things,” she admitted, taking another sip. “Do you have anything in mind?”
"Eh me neither…" Dae confessed, "I mean…" He paused for a moment, thinking, "Yeah I can't think of anything…" He smiled and laughed a little at himself.
“We could just walk around the stores and stuff over here? I dunno…” Lily added unhelpfully. “Or maybe we could go to the arcade? That’s always fun.”
"We could do both, like walk around for a bit then walk to the arcade!" Daeshim said, now excited, again. He loved walking around town it was always nice.
“Okay, that sounds like fun!” Lily agreed, taking another drink. Of course, anything was fun with Daeshim.
"You wanna start walking right now? We'll have our tea and walk, it'll be great!" Daeshim said, ending up deciding without fully letting Lily answer.
“Sure.” She smiled, getting up and brushing a stray hair out of her face.
Daeshim smiled and stood up as well. He held out his free hand hoping Lily would take it.
She took it, smiling at him and swinging her hand that intertwined with his happily. She held her tea in her other hand.
