@avimancer

Will squinted at the people who had just approached him.
"uh… Maybe?"
He shuffled his bare foot. He wasn't ready to reveal too much to the overtly friendly people who just approached him. Normally, he thought, people wouldn't even give me a second glance. This seems shady.

@Ervie

"It's a yes or no question," added Julie. She wasn't sure who's side she was on, but it seemed like a good thing to say.

@avimancer

"Yes and no," he confirmed. "I'm just disoriented–I'm sure I've been here before." he paused, but quickly picked up the line of conversation again. Today has been rough, to say the least." He laughed, one of those laughs that people try to wrap their insecurities in, but they still poke out all over the place.

@avimancer

"I think I need a chance to get my bearings. What part of town is this?" Will didn't want to ask for too much, not yet at least.

@avimancer

"Which library?" Will asked. "There are at least 20 on the East Side of town alone."
To himself, he muttered, "crap. I was in the far north of Downtown… how did I end up in the east?"

@avimancer

"thanks." He had never heard of that library in his life. "I'm hoping to get back to my house; well, my dorm room." It's in the North, Cadell's College of Engineering Technologies." He figured that was still broad enough. These people didn't seem too shady.
(hey is this city based off of any in real life, or is it just some fictional city?)

(No clue?)
“Oh. Nice. I go to Blackwood University. I’m studying meteorology and atmospheric chemistry. I want to become a storm chaser.”, Nicole was telling the truth. It was a dangerous job and she was up for it. “Blackwood’s just a few blocks away.”

@Ervie

"Wow," said Julie, smiling. She didn't share anything about herself. She was still in high school, of course, but they probably thought she was their age.

Nicole was aware that it was risky to share this information with complete strangers, but she had noticed they had their suspicions. Nicole was sure thay sharing some information would make them a little more relaxed about her. After all, they certainly weren’t her targets.
