Finn took a while to respond. Not seeing the text until he was putting poppy in her car seat. He took a selfie with her as she sticks her tongue out at the camera. “She says hi” he texts.

Cal had fallen asleep in the long while it took Finn to respond. He jolted awake surprised when he had heard the notification the Finn had texted him. "Aww, adorable. Tell her I say hi back :)" he responded while yawning.

Finn chuckled before sitting in the front seat. “Will do! So what time do you want to meet up tomorrow?”

Taking a moment to think, Cal nodded to himself and texted him back. "Does 1:00 work for you?? I'm free from then on the rest of the day if you want a different time. ^^"

“1 sounds great!” He texts before starting to drive. Poppy told him stories about her day at school until they made it home.

"Great then!" He replied. Yawning once more he layed back down on the couch not even bothering to go to his room to sleep. Today had exhausted him.

"I'm heading over now," Finn texted Cal at around 12:30. He felt bad leaving Poppy with his aunt but he new shed just dump her on her assistant who was nice and would take good care of her.

"Okay! Cya in a few!" Cal responded back. He had actually just woken up moments before this and quickly threw on a pink pastel sweater and shorts on after seeing the text. His dads question his hurriedness but he didn't want to tell them in case they thought the wrong thing. Let's hope they act cool…

Finn already had his address from yesterday. He showed up at Cal's door a half an hour later. Knocking lightly.

Looking around the room to make sure none of his dads were around to answer, he walked over quickly to the door and opened it softly. "Hey!"

”Hey, ” Fin said smiling at Cal. He looked past the other boy and at the room behind him.

"Come on in." Cal said with a smile and light pink color to his cheeks, stepping aside to let him in. He knew Finn was probably looking at the colorful living room behind him.

Finn stepped inside smiling as he looks around. ”So where do you want to study?” He asked slightly awkward.

"Hmm…" Cal hummed taking a moment to think, he didn't want his dads to be bothersome but he knew anywhere they went they would should up eventually. "We could also just study in my room if that's ok?" Cal asked tilting his head with a blush.

”sure! Lead the way, ” he joked smiling wider. He saw Cal’s blush but tried not to think much of it.

Cal chuckled lightly and smiled again. "Here I have my study sets in there." He said starting to walk to his room, waving to Finn to follow him. I hope this just stays a normal study session…

Finn followed. ”So you actually understand what she's talking about in math? Because I had understood last until but now I'm completely lost.”

(I want his dads to just come in at some embarrassing point and embarrass him m o r e xD)

Walking into a room filled with nothing but pastel color and different aesthetics, Cal nodded looking around his desk. "It isn't that confusing once you get the hang of it."

Finn looked around the room and shrugged. “Probably. I’m usually now bad at math but I don’t know man this teacher drives me insane,” Finn sighed.

Cal raised an eyebrow with a slight smile. "I think that teacher drives everyone insane, and here is one of the study sets I made." He handed Finn a few papers that weren't as neat as his had been, but explained everything in great detail.

“Thank you. Do you want to like text each other or something?” Finn asked. He never really studied with other people. (My phone is on the brink of death and I’m at work without a charger so I’m not going to be on until later tonight)

"Uh i'm pretty sure if you're studying with people you actually talk to each other." Cal answered with a light chuckle, shaking his head softly.

Finn nodded “you’re probably right” he said. “So umm how did you solve the problem?” He looked around the room for somewhere to sit.

Pulling the chair from his desk he gestured for Finn to sit on it while he sat down on his bed across from it. "Well lets see…" He started to explain the problem.

Finn listened carefully. His elbows on his knees. Leaning in to hair Cal better. “I think I’m starting to get it,” He said.

Cal smiled big, happy he could help. "Yay! That's good! Want me explain anymore or do you got it?" He asked, to busy to notice how close they were.
