Finn understood everything now but he didn't really want any of it to end. "Can you explain a little more?" He asked.

"Of course!" Cal scooted a little closer to Finn so he had a better view of the paper. Truth was he enjoyed spending time with him.

Finn stood up and sat beside Cal on the bed. "So we can both see the paper," He explained. He was right next to him, shoulders touching.

Blushing, Cal nodded softly and went on explaining so he wouldn't say anything to embarrassing. He caught glances at Finn every so often hoping he wouldn't notice.

Finn’s cheeks heated up slightly but he just kept listening like nothing was different. “Yeah I definitely get it now,” he says looking away from the paper and straight at a blushing Cal.

Cal looked away from the paper and met eyes with Finn. His face turned a bright pink and he bit his bottom lip not knowing what to do. "T-that's good…" He said quietly.

“You blush a lot,” Finn blurted our without really meaning it. He pressed his lips together after completely regretting his words.

Cal looked at him wide eyed and looked away while scratching the back of his neck. "Haha yeah….I get flustered really easy….sorry its weird."

“It’s not weird it’s c-…natural,” He said stopping himself from saying something really stupid. Or at least he thought it would be stupid. He was pretty sure Cal likes him or at least found him attractive. Obviously Finn feels the same way but he can’t just show that. It could ruin everything.

Cal tilted his head, wanting to ask what Finn had been saying before he had stopped himself. Weird… "I-i guess so." He said with his nervous stutter, an adorable pink color still resting on his cheeks.

Finn nodded looking away from Cal and back at the paper. He bit the inside of his cheeks. "So what now?" he asked.

"Uh…I don't know.." Cal said while fidgeting with one of his sleeves. This feels a little awkward…I hope he doesn't know I like him…

fin shifted slightly so they weren't touching. He realized it was probably what made him uncomfortable. "We can just hang out for a little bit," he suggests. "take a break from studieing and then work a little more. I still have to make my cheat sheet."

'Hm that sounds like a good idea." Cal said softly with a smile, his blush gone now. "Studying can get kinda boring."

Finn nodded relaxing slightly. "Do you like any youtubers?" He asked tilting his head.

Cal took a moment to think about it before answering. "Oh, I do like insert Finn's favorite youtuber here !" He said still smiling.

“Really? I love them!” Finn said smiling wide. (Idk Who his favorite would be in winging it)

"Thats awesome! I never meet other people who like them too!" Cal said with a happy tone. (Welcome to the club lol)

”me too!” he said. “What about movies? Do you like marvel?”

"Of course! What kind of person doesn't." Cal answered. "I may not be the biggest fan of violence but I still love Marvel."

“Who’s your favorite?” He quickly asked. Totally not fanboying.

"Oooh that's a tuff one…" Cal said trying to hide his excitement. "I know, it would have to be either Spider man or Captain America!" (I wrote that and then remembered your username lol)

“Same! My favorites captain America though,” He said his smile somehow getting wider.

"Nice! He's pretty cool!" Cal said with his adorable little smile. He hadn't expected him and Finn to share anything in common.

"Yeah," Finn agreed nodding. He positioned himself so that his back was agianst the wall but his feet still dangled off the bed.

"Mhm." Cal said sitting criss cross applesauce, as he still called it. "So, you got hobbies or interests other than football?" He asked with a curious look. (He plays football right? I'm hitting a blank lol)

"I like to bake," He admits after thinking for a moment.

"Oooh sweets are the best! I wish I could bake without burning everything." Cal said with a light chuckle.

Finn chuckled slightly. "I don't even understand ho that's possible," he said shaking his head slightly.
