(Everyone hates him. But I love him.)
Nathan was sitting at the top of the roof, writing down everything that was happening between Sam and Silas in his notebook. His notebook looked to be well-loved, burn marks on the cover and large but neat lettering that said Study Book. Most others eavesdropped for interest, but he did it for science. He needed more information on the two anyways, so watching them in a relationship would be beneficial to his study at the home.
(Watch her beat him up)
(Watch him retort by threatening to cut off her tongue. Oh, and other things.)
(Lol Sam doesn't care about threats. Can they legit get in a fight tho? Like maybe not on the roof but still….)
(Of course my good madam!)
(yay! <3)

Cleo, although eavesdropping, had sunk so far into mind that when she resurfaced she honestly questioned what day it was. Flipping over onto her stomach, she frowned at one of the many clocks in her room. Only a hour had past. "Ugh." She groaned, dropping her head to the floor. "I really have to take my meds." She muttered into the carpet. She could feel the wave of violence getting ready to pull her under, but she couldn't muster the energy to get up. It was late anyway, she should just sleep and start new in the morning. "Great idea." her voice intoned sarcastically, not at all sounding like her usual sunny self. Cleo remained on the floor, pouting.
Silas shrugged halfheartedly. "I'm down for whatever, part of me wants to stay here purely to make sure that kid," he gestured to Nathan with his thumb, "doesn't do anything to get himself killed." As much as the boy was a rude pain the ass, Silas himself didn't really have anything against him. Though it was getting late, and he didn't want to be late getting up for school in the morning. Crap, he hadn't finished his biology homework! Silas fought back the urge to let out a groan, and simply bit his lower lip, mentally kicking himself. "But then again, I don't want you being tired at school tomorrow. We have a long day ahead of us."
"I wouldn't do anything." Nathan hummed, giving a small wave at the two. "And if I did, anything I did was for science." He defended, voice emotionless. Like he knew he could make it more complex but wasn't for the sake of his housemates small little brains.
"I don't really care for how he studies us all, but I guess he's a good kid." Silas murmured, as if he was trying to defend Nathan. Again, he had never done anything wrong to Silas, so the latter had no reason to dislike the former. Though he did find it odd how Nathan was always writing stuff down in those notebooks of his, and the inspecting glances he gave everyone put Silas on edge. I'll ask him about it one day, probably.
"You don't need to care for it for my studying to exist. It is my work and you need not worry about it." Nathaniel tapped his fingers against the edge of his book, pausing for a moment only to write down that Silas, host of system. Does not enjoy my studying but feels no anger towards me yet.
Cleo pulled herself up off the floor with a massive groan. Stalking to her window, she threw it open wider and leaned out, scowling up at the congregation of teens on the roof. "Would you mind? Some of us are trying to dissociate in peace!" Cleo hollered, not unkindly but with a bite that suggested that she was prepared to climb up there and knock some sense into them.
"The only thing he would do to get himself killed is piss me off," Sam whispered, leaning closer to Silas. She did not want Nathaniel to hear. She didn't like him, not that it was a secret. "Ugh fuck school," she said, rolling her eyes. "But you're right. We should probably go back in." She paused and giggled. "But I don't know how well I'll do on my feet right now. You might have to help me."
She turned towards Cleo's voice. "Shut the fuck up!" she hissed. "You're gonna get us caught!"
"You're drunk… Interesting." Nathan muttered, peering down at Sam, writing some more things down in Sam's profile. "Very interesting."
Silas smiled awkwardly as Cleo shouted up to them. Sam was right, she was going to get them caught, just as well that they were going inside then…
He pushed himself up, shifting his weight to stop himself from falling, and extended a hand down to Sam. "Need help m'lady?"
Sam whipped around to face him, her eyes blazing. "Don't think for a second I can't still rip your head off. Because I swear to god I will. Try me. Just try me." Sam hated being observed. It felt like Nathaniel was always watching her and she was over it.
Sam sighed and turned back to face Silas. Her face softened and she smiled at him, making sure Nathaniel couldn't see. She took his hand. "Thanks. And I swear I'm gonna set his fucking notebook on fire."
"Please try to refrain from doing that." Silas smiled, hoisting Sam up, making sure she was sturdy on her feet. "I don't want to bear witness to a murder."
Besides, if she set Nathan's notebook on fire, he couldn't ask him exactly what he was writing down!
"Come on, lets get you inside. I think you need some water as well, that will help with the alcohol."
"If you touch my notebook, you'll be the one on fire." Nathan said, his voice having a sharp edge. He wasn't kidding, not that he ever was. I don't think he even knows what the word kidding means.
Sam shrugged. "I mean you wouldn't have to watch. . . . " She nodded and followed Silas towards the edge of the roof. "Yeah. Okay fine." She giggled again. She was definitely going to hate herself in the morning for all of this giggling. "You gonna tuck me into bed too mom?" She heard Nathaniel but decided to ignore him for once. Teasing Silas was so much more fun.
"Well I could, but I respect your dignity and privacy." He so badly wanted to give in to her teasing, and if it wasn't the alcohol talking then he might have been more inclined to take her word. But he wouldn't take advantage of her in any way shape or form, especially when she was under an influence.
"If that boy so much as ignites a lighter around Sam I am going to personally murder him." Shade hissed in the back of Silas' mind. The host ignored him, thinking it best to just let this situation go. "I'm going to go down first. Once I'm at my window just start to lower yourself down and I'll lift you inside. Is that okay?"
(Uh is there a role I could fill out? If not that's ok)
(Hmm, we could always use another parent. A few people left I think, so you could be the new kid becuase we need that the most.)
(Sure, do you need a rp sample?)
(No, I'm stalking a bunch of your rps XD)
Cringing, Cleo ducked back into her room. She didn't bother to close her window. It was no use now. She wasn't going to be able to sleep tonight. She felt a pang of jealously shoot through her, which she promptly ignored. "We're all fucked up here. Nothing to be jealous about." She told her reflection, attempting to bring back her smile. It failed, as it always did when he was off her meds. Cleo rolled her shoulders and plopped down onto her bed. She hoped the next day would be more entertaining.
(Oof lol, I'll get my template up in a few)
(yo, Maybe in this roleplay Min-Hyuk and Nathan could be friends XD)
