A feeling of dread poured over her as Thorn entered the room. "What do you think?" She muttered. "It's hard to get a good night's sleep on a concrete floor."
A feeling of dread poured over her as Thorn entered the room. "What do you think?" She muttered. "It's hard to get a good night's sleep on a concrete floor."
”I don't care.” Thorn growled. She walked over to the cell and crouched down in front of Supernova.
”What do you look like without that mask? Hm?” She asked, tilting her head as she looked at her.
(I forgot to ask what what Supernova's mask look like. The Demons cover her mouth and nose and her eyes change colors when she has energy.)
(looks kinda like this https://pin.it/zleetucgcohmke but if you can't see it it's just a white masquerade mask that covers her eyes and nose)
(I can see it)
"None of your business," she grumbled, touching her mask. She wouldn't let her identity be revealed. She would rather die. She didn't want The Demon to see her face, which was weak and scared. But she wouldn't lose that mask without a fight.
(ok cool)
(I can see it)
(*can't)
Thorn made a 'tch' noise and grabbed onto Supernova mind.
"You can either show me or you can have me forcefully rip that mask off your face." She offered.
Thalia winced, but didn't say anything. She felt like screaming for help but didn't give Thorn the satisfaction of seeing her weak. There was no way she would reveal her identity-not to anyone.
Thorn held her still as she reached through the bars of the cage and pulled Supernovas off and dropped it on the ground.
"Thalia?" She asked when she saw her face.
She always showed up later than her when she won and earlier when she lost, why she came home with injuries, why she didn't come home last night, it just made sense now.
Thalia tried to hide her face, but it was no use. Tears welled up in the corners of her eyes when she whispered, "How do you know my name?"
Thron stared at Thalia for a bit longer. She sat down with her legs cross in front of the cage.
”Well this complicates things quite a bit.” She said as she slipped off her mask, exposing her face as well. ”Never expected you to be her.”
"Th-thorn?" She sputtered, an expression of confusion and surprise worn on her face. "But you…I.." she couldn't put her emotions into words. Its all ruined now, she thought. I liked Thorn, I wanted to spend my days with her. But now all of that is over. We can never love each other.
Thorn rested her head on her hands trying to figure out what to do. She couldn't leave her here now that she knew it was Thalia and she couldn't let her go because she would either not let her eat or tell the police about her. She groaned and hit her head on the cage bars.
"F#@k." She muttered.
"Are you okay?" Thalia asked worriedly. She honestly didn't know how to react, and now that Thorn knew that she was Supernova, would she leave her down here or let her go? And what was she supposed to do about her, feeding off of people? It was all to confusing for her.
"I find one person that I think I can trust and it turns out that they are the g0d d@mn hero!" Thorn yelled as she banged her head against the door. She shook with sadness and anger. Sadness for putting Thalia through everything and anger at herself for trusting someone so easily.
Thalia pressed herself against the wall in fear. She had never seen Thorn like this. She had to keep reminding herself that this isn't the one she had loved. This was The Demon. A tear trickled down her cheek and she hastily wiped it on her sleeve.
Thorn looked up to see Thalia pressed up against the wall in fear. A tear trickled out of the side of her eyes. She began to think of ways she could make this work but found none. The closest thing she could think of was to constantly drain her and keep her somewhere she couldn't tell anyone she was The Demon but that would just hurt Thalia.
(I have an little idea to put in the story if that's alright.)
(yeah of course what is it)
(What if there was like a community of villains called The Society or something that has like a list or rules to keep villains safe and keep them from hurting too many citizens and what not and every villain has to do some sort of check in thing and Thorn decides she needs to protect Thalia from them? Does that could good? This is kinda a half baked idea.)
(ooh yes that sounds good)
Thalia swallowed and spoke after a while. "So…what now?"
Thorn dried her eyes. ”I…don´t know.” She chocked out. She didn't know what to do. What would The Society say? All this was making her hungry.
Thalia let out a shaky breath. "Can we…at least…go home?" She asked shakily.
Thorn stared at her for a bit longer before tears began to prick her eyes again. She nodded.
”Yeah. Let´s go home.” She said as she unlocked the door. She walked into the cell and helped Thalia out. She was probably tried and hungry.
Thalia nodded, grabbing her mask off the ground and leaving the cell. As they walked down the hall in silence she glanced over at Thorn sadly. She winced as bright sunlight pierced her eyes, and it took several minutes to get re-accustomed to the light, but eventually she did, feeling her powers flowing back through her again.
Thorn winced at the sunlight as she came above ground.
”Come on. I know a short cut.” She said as she ducked behind a few buildings and through a few alleyways. They arrived at the apartment soon and Thorn climbed in through the window, helping Thalia as well.
Thalia sighed with relief as she stepped into the dorm, and grabbed some food, plopping down on the couch. "God, I'm starving," she muttered, scarfing it down.
Thorn watched her do that before she headed into the bathroom to change. After she did that she came back into the living room and sat down on the couch, almost like an ashamed child would. She grabbed a pillow and hugged it.
Thalia finished eating and glanced at Thorn. "I..don't know what we're going to do about…" She ran her fingers through her hair. "You know, this…"
