"Hey can we test these out?" Quebec cut into Xara's conversation with Syzen blatantly. "And can we modify them too?"
"Hey can we test these out?" Quebec cut into Xara's conversation with Syzen blatantly. "And can we modify them too?"
Syzen nodded.
“I am aware of that but…” he coughed before he continued “…if you’re going to stay out of this, you’re going to get killed anyways and that’s a fact. Indas would not mercy anyone, especially those in the towns surrounding Selas. So… are you going to stand up, fight and die a savior or give up and be a no one in the pages of history?” He asked calmly as his tone says otherwise.
He then turned to Quebec.
“Of course, there’s a field down the right hall and yes, once you wear them, you can insert your own magic into the uniforms” he answered.
Matthew turned to Que and raised a brow.
“Should we?” He gestured to the door as the tail on his uniform moved around as if it had a mind of its own.
The knight figure turned back to Cat.
“In that case—“ the chains around their arms dashed at Cat and grabbed her, gently yet tightly. The figure then gestured for the chains to be beside him as he ran to the castle. Only in matters of seconds, they’d reach the palace.
“See? Wasn’t that bad right?” The knight retracted the chains.
“Andromeda is the name, by the way”
Cat pulled away from him hard falling over her own feet but managing to stay upright. "Don't ever touch me again!" the was a hint of malice in her voice. "If I want your help I will ask, but you touch me again and I will snap your arm clean in half."
Xara snorted. "A rousing speech, to be sure. However, I've no clue as to how to fight, and as fun as being a 'hero' sounds, it's not really my thing."
Andromeda blinked violently.
“Right… uh, ‘kay bye. The room is on the left hall pass the first corridor” he said before extending his chains and following it with his body.
Syzen sighed.
“Look, I’m fully aware of your situation but unfortunately—“ he eyed the Leo uniform “—I can’t afford to find someone else worthy of that uniform in matters of days to come” he accepted.
“So would you just do me a favor and at least accept the offer?”
Xara furrowed her brow. "You call that a favor? Listen, I can't learn to not die in 'matters of days to come,' as you say. I'm not really all that useful dead, now am I?"
(Now this, This is just the kind of tension I needed!!)
Syzen sighed.
“Alright, alright, you can have your ways. Just make use of the Uniform I guess, at least don’t make me waste half a year on it for nothing” he leaned fully against the chair, looking at the other signs in the room.
(Tension's always good XD)
"Oh, for the love of - fine. If you're going to guilt trip me about it, I'll just stay here, then. I've no idea why on earth you'd want me, but alright," Xara said flatly, crossing her arms.
Cat brushed herself off and looked around. Plag hopped to the ground landing without a sound. He started walking towards a door that was only slightly open. Cat followed her companion to the room that Andromeda had told her to go to.
Quebec smiled "Why the hell not?". He walked out to the hall and turned right. "So.. How's stuff lately? I haven't been visiting you, so catch me up on the news"
(omg i am sooo behind)
“Eh, it’s for better or for worse people are storming my damn shop like crazy” Matthew answered with a small laugh.
“I mean, it’s nice having customers but sometimes it can be a bit much”
Upon reaching the doors that led to the field, Matt opened them. Outside were several silver armored knights, twelve to be exact and they were all stand in front of a totem, all of which were symbolizing the twelve Zodiacs.
“Welcome Zodiacs… to your first test” the one under the Scorpio totem spoke up as the Scorpio and Aquarius totem lit up.
They both jumped from their spots and landed some meters away from Quebec and Matthew. The two knights were ones they’ve met before; Auriga, the Charioteer constellation and Pyxis, the Compass constellation.
(Last I was here we were just doing the letter opening, so where do I yeet my character back in lol)
Lata walked inside, examining the letter once again. She couldn't stop thinking about what was coming. The weight of the badge of her chest was much more than its physical mass. Sighing, the young girl decided to begin gathering her things. Entering her room, she sighed. Would she be moving entirely? How much was she supposed to be bringing anyways? Clothes for sure. Her favorite spell books as well. The obvious things as well. The new question was: Did she have something big enough to bring it all?
Quebec looked at Pyxis noticing it was him from his unique, different, and flashy compass outfit almost instantly.
"So… You mentioned.. Test.. Would you mind explaining?" All he wanted was just to take a trial on his new free gift and recall his skills he hadn't use in years.
"Also… How long have you been here?" He asked peeking to the right of Pyxis to look at the other totems and knights.
Outside of Lata’s window, a winged and white armored figure landed as smoke and winds followed them. He glanced inside the house and spotted Lata. They were wearing a helm which covered everything but their sharp, cruel and red colored eyes.
Pyxis and Auriga looked at each other before they pressed a button on a remote each of them held. The speakers inside the helms of the Scorpio and Aquarius armor started playing.
(Check your PM for the info I gave ya)
“You will be testing out the abilities of the Uniform in an actual fight” Auriga explained before both of the knights threw their badge upwards and came their uniforms.
“Also… since I dropped you off, so not that long” Pyxis answered.
(Wait who's seeing the knight-fighting-dude-things?)
Amongst the remaining totems, several other knights stood in front of them. The one in front of the Aries totem seemed ticked off and was crossing her arms. The others looked at her with both confusion and… concern.
Once Cat got inside the room, the man at the end of the table seemed delighted.
“Ah! Sagittarius, Cat, yes, welcome!” His voice was happy when he saw her. The Sagittarius seat lit up as the Sagittarius uniform appeared behind the seat; the only one with a single wing.
(Wait who's seeing the knight-fighting-dude-things?)
(Right now there are no audiences except you all and the twelve other knights (if you are outside in the field, that is). Since the palace is after all a private place, they would like to keep it as empty as possible)
(So is my girlie supposed to be outside?)
(That’d be better. You two too, Luna, Lucisan)

Cat looked at the man with a raised eyebrow. She also looked at the seat that had lit up. "I'm guessing you're the one in charge?" Plag walked over to her and stood so that he was lightly brushing her legs with his fur, he was also looking at the man at the end of the table.
“That’d be correct. I’m also the one who sent you the letter for that matter” a tab of color palettes appeared in front of the golden Sagittarius uniform.
“Please take a look at it”
Xara took her time making her way outside, looking around. The entire place was completely ridiculous. She stepped outside and immediately considered going back in. "Sorry, er, what's going on here?"
"Hey come on, we're trying out our new outfits… Or.. We're doing a test of some sort… Well, that's what they said" Quebec noticed Xara who had just walked outside. "I believe you're.. Leo.. Right?"
Xara nodded. "That's right. So, what kind of test is this supposed to be?"
When the Lion constellation came out, the Leo totem lit up and the figure in front it leaped up, landing beside the Compass and the Charioteer.
“Argh… about time…” the figure stretched as the speaker inside the Leo uniform started playing a tape, explaining about the uniform.
“Hey, Corvus, don’t go all out okay?” The Compass constellation joked with the newest knight as they all got into their fighting stance.
“You all can start first, we don’t mind” Auriga teased the three Zodiacs.
"Shit, you scared me," Xara yelped, stumbling backwards.
"Wait.. We're fighting?" Quebec seemed surprised. He turned towards Xara and Matthew concerned though unable to express through his head gear. "We don't even know how to activate stuff with out suits".
