"But you're always so calm and cool and collected! I never have to try and help you with emotional stuff, and it doesn't seem fair for you… you're allowed to get help too."

"Well, mostly because I learned to either ignore or numb certain feelings. And Cas, don't worry about it."

"But I just love you more than anything and I want to help. Because you deserve it." Cas kissed Sorin's cheek.

"Deserve it?" He smiled widely. "Cas, don't worry yourself too much. I'll be fine… but it's comforting to know that you would help if I ever needed it."

Cas nodded. "You deserve help just as much as I do… and everyone needs a little bit of help. Some just… need more than others."

He lowered his head and kissed him softly, stroking the side of his face when he pulled away. "I don't deserve you."

"Yeah… you deserve better than me." Cas leaned into Sorin's hand, purring.

"Not possible. No one could be better than you."

"How so? There's plenty of better people than me in this world."

"No, no one can ever be as great as you are."

Cas rolled his eyes. "I think you're wrong, because you're greater."

Sorin couldn't help but laugh at that. "Absolutely not… not in the slightest."

"Why not? If I'm supposedly good, you must be as well."

"Accept the fact that you're a better person than me."

"How am I a better person than you? You're literally an angel who was in a bad relationship. I ran away from home and stole and stuff…"

"Oh come on, how do you not see it?"

"See what?" Cas cocked his head to the side a bit.

"I locked you in a shed, I put you in danger, I let you get hurt… and yet you still see me as a better person?"

"W-Well, you had good intentions, although the shed thing wasn't particularly nice…"

"Yeah it wasn't… Me thinking I was doing the right thing made you unhappy and that isn't okay…" he brushed his fingertip on the side of his face. "And yet you're still here."

"Well… yeah… why wouldn't I be?" Cas's face flicked to Sorin's finger for a moment.

"I expected you to leave me after that."

"I wouldn't leave you over one thing except maybe like, killing someone I love or something. Except you're really the only one I love…"

He smiled at that and lowered his head to kiss him softly.

"When we ever fight, I wanna resolve it. Even if it seems like I'm being standoffish and pissy, I still want to work it out." Cas kissed him back.

"I do too…" he said against his lips before going in to kiss him again.

Cas nodded. "Apologies in advance for being standoffish and pissy… I tend to do that. I think it's the cat thing."

"Yeah, I figured," he replied with a chuckle before giving him a brief peck on the lips.

"I'll never stop loving you, baby…" Cas purred, nuzzling against Sorin's cheek.

"Nor will I ever stop loving you," he carefully pulled him closer and held him a bit tighter.
