Sorin lied on his stomach, leaning on his elbows as he rested his chin in his hands. "I want to see…" he narrowed his eyes and scanned the cards. "If you can spell out and write a word of your choice."
Sorin lied on his stomach, leaning on his elbows as he rested his chin in his hands. "I want to see…" he narrowed his eyes and scanned the cards. "If you can spell out and write a word of your choice."
"Okay." Cas twirled the pencil for a moment before writing 'Sorin' down on the paper.
"Yes, that's perfect," he glanced at the word and smiled softly. "But maybe a word you haven't written before."
"Oh, um…" Cas thought for a moment before writing 'cat'. It was easy, he hadn't written it before, and he could figure out how to spell it.
He nodded and sat upright. "From now on, I will print these worksheets out for you to do before we go out anywhere instead. Starting tomorrow, though."
Cas sighed. "Fine… I suppose it's for the best." He stood up and took Sorin's hand.
"It'll help you when you practice more frequently independently… but I will be there if you have any questions."
He nodded and nuzzled against Sorin's arm. "Thanks, babe…"
"Hey, no need to thank me," he kissed the top of his head. "Do you want to change into something different before we go, or just leave? It's up to you."
"Um… Sure. I'll be right back." Cas ran up to the bedroom and changed. He soon came back down wearing black skinny jeans paired with a yellow sweater and a matching yellow beanie to cover his ears.
"You look cute," Sorin winked before he ran past him and put on a pair of sneakers. He jogged downstairs, grabbed his keys, and picked up Cas in one arm. He locked the door, extending his wings before taking flight.
Cas held onto his hat and let the wind make his tail stream behind them. His hair blew back as well and he grinned, seeming exhilarated.
He briefly glanced at him, not wanting to shift his focus elsewhere, though that was enough to make him smile himself. Sorin landed in swift and carefully.
"Whew! Nothing like flying to get your blood pumping, eh?" Cas laughed again, regaining his balance on the ground. He let his hand fall away from his hat, which was surrounded by his windswept ginger hair.
Sorin shook his head and laughed, wrapping an arm around the other's shoulder. "Dork," he muttered under his breath as they headed inside.
Cas stuck his tongue out at him, though he was still grinning. "Are we going to the same store or a different one?"
"We can go to a different one if you'd like," he stroked his thumb along his cheekbone.
"I don't know anything about clothes, so I'll let you choose." Cas purred happily when Sorin touched him.
"Alright," Sorin briefly scanned the area before he decided to take him into Nordstrom.
Cas followed him in, the tip of his tail occasionally brushing the ground. He looked around curiously.
He looked around the store, ignoring the gazes of a few people who glowered at him. "You can pick whatever you like."
"This stuff is all so fancy…" Cas picked up a black puffy vest, humming a bit.
Sorin smiled softly as he watched him. He realized he should've saved enough money so he wouldn't have to work as much for rent, though, he knew his money was worth spending as long as it made him happy. "Do you like it?"
"I mean, yeah, it's just kinda overwhelming." Cas looked around. "Even when I was with my dad, I never came into nice stores like this."
"Well, now you get to come here whenever you please," Sorin wrapped his arms around him from behind, kissing his temple as his eyes fixed on the couple who scowled at them upon leaving.
Cas smiled, not seeming to notice the couple. "I love you~" He purred, the vest still held loosely in his hands.
"I love you more," he peppered kisses up and down the side of his face before he nuzzled into his neck.
He grinned wider, closing his eyes as he laughed. "Sorin~, we're in public."
"I know," he smiled, giving small pecks along the curve of his neck and jaw.
Cas giggled a bit and covered his mouth. "Stoooop…"
