Alyssa nods before looking at the other. "I'm glad he's alive at least…" He whispers quietly.
Alyssa nods before looking at the other. "I'm glad he's alive at least…" He whispers quietly.
"So am I. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I knew he died…"
She nods and smiled a little before sighing as she looked at the other. "I don't think any of us could…"
She sighed quietly, trying to make herself relax. "I feel so bad for him. I never meant for this to happen…"
"It's not your fault Becca." She says gently. "It was the driver and it's okay now. He's alive."
She fell quiet, not wanting to argue. She still felt bad but tried to ignore it.
Alyssa went quiet as well, her eyes on her brother. She looked like she was going to cry again, but no tears came.
She knew that she wasn't going to move until he woke up. She promised that she would be there and she damn well meant it.
Alyssa glanced at Becca before glancing at the door before back to her brother. "I need to go talk to Mom. Let her knew what's happening. I'll be back in a minute."
"Take your time. I'm not going anywhere." She never took her eyes off him, pushing her hair out of her eyes.
She nods before leaving the room and into the hallway.
(Time skip?)
(Sure!)
(Alright. To when?)
(Until he wakes up again? Cause she ain't moving until he does.)
(Gotcha)
Ace groaned quietly, opening his eyes and looking around. He starts when the other was till there. "Hi…" he mutters softly.
"Hey, glad to see you're awake." She had sat there for hours, her back was killing her but she stayed. She had promised she would be there and she was.
He looked over her and his eyes were soft. "Have you slept at all?" He asks gently, his eyes on her.
She giggled softly. "No, I can't say I have. But knowing me, I wouldn't have been able to anyway." Not with knowing that you're so hurt because of my stupidity…
He nods and smiles a little at the giggle. "Alright…" he whispers as he looked down at the other. "If you could… Could you tell me what I was like before the accident?"
She smiled softly. "Well, you were very kind and caring. You were considered a bad boy around town but that was just an act. Or if it wasn't, you were always sweet towards me. You were fun and loving, always looking after me and the rest of your family. You had a tendency to get into fights but that didn't bother me." She sighed softly. "I could go on but we'd be here all day."
Ace chuckles softly. "Really? Explains all the scars." He shrugs before smiling warmly at her. "So… you're my girlfriend?" He asks, looking completely astounded. "You're breathtaking…" He mutters, a small smile twitching on his lips. "I must be one lucky bastard."
She blushed bright pink. "I wouldn't go as far as breathtaking, really. I'm pretty average if you ask me." He still made her blush just as easily despite the amnesia.
"I don't lie, sweetcheeks." He mutters, a smirk twitching on his lips as he gazes at her. "But I certainly think you're more then you say you are."
She smiled a little. "Even with amnesia, he's a smooth talker." She muttered to herself. She finally made eye contact with him. "I'm not sure why. I'm nobody."
"You can't be a nobody if I noticed you." He laughs, before smiling at the other. "I have to be really lucky to have you."
"I wouldn't say so. With all the shit you've had to deal with when it comes to me, I'm really more of a hassle." Her eyes dropped to the floor, her smile fading.
He shook his head. "I don't think so." He mutters softly, reaching his hand for hers.
She gently took it, smiling slightly when she still felt sparks go up her arm. He was still the same boy she'd fallen in love with, that was for sure. "If only I agreed with you…"
"Mmm… You don't have to, but I'm never wrong." He giggles quietly. He looked, happy and relaxed. He winced in pain.
She noticed him tense and her face twisted with concern, looking up at him. "You feeling okay? I can call the nurse if you're in pain."
